should your larynx be moving up some when you do higher in pitch for the falsetto for vocal flexibility part?

I heard recently that the mix voice physiologically is when the vocal fold opening is relatively equidistant throughout a vocal range. Would you agree with this?

Jutin...My laryx always goes up whenever I try to sing a bit high or when I I'm singing in falsetto... It's really annoying as you've suggested that it's not good as it results in strain and it changes my original voice..what can I do?
