College football playoffs have rules that all conferences agree to. Including one group of 5 and ND
ОтветитьThe Alabama, Michigan has me intrigued??? Michigan beats Ohio State and Alabama missed the playoffs??? Who's going to claim that flagggg??? To me some bowl games still matter?!?!?!?
ОтветитьMonty where's the PRIME higher??? Your going to say Norvell is still there?!?!? I'm here to tell you that Prime told them no and that's why he's still there? Prime is going to bring the BIG12 back to relevance you wait!!!
ОтветитьWhat sucks to me for Norte Dame they have no choice. If they lose more than 1 they are out!!! But what sucks is the BIG is refusing to play Norte Dame to force them in a conference? Bad politicting for the Norte Dame argument...GO IRISH....
ОтветитьI believe people are more pissed about a 9-3 team didn't make the playoff W/O championship help. Because I believe when you lose 3 you're going to need luck to get in? I thought the committee did great!!!
ОтветитьThe end to the show didn’t end well huh.
By now you know they caught him.
I always get a kick out of your schtick
Ответитьcouple items that bother me...
1) If strength of schedule is the most important factor, then there are teams completely locked out of the playoff before the season even starts. I don't like that.
2) SEC deserves more teams in the playoff than Big 10!
3) Each of the Big 4 conferences deserve at least 2 teams in the tourney. group of 5, gets one bid based on rank.
4) #1 team should NOT have the most difficult path to the championship!
5) Should be a 16 team playoff. with #3 above, and the rest at large bids.
You're talking about SEC bias, but you don't understand it. It's not as simple as getting into the playoffs or not. Let me explain 2 conferences had 10 teams finish over .500 and 3 teams finish at .500 for a total of 13 teams finishing bowl eligible. The narrative is 1 conference plays nobody and the other conference is the hardest. Those 2 conferences are the ACC and SEC. By virtue of the conference championship win SMU lost 2 games to 2 ten win teams. Alabama lost 1 game to a ten win team and 2 games to 2 six win teams, but because the narrative is the SEC is so much better they have a higher SOS. Oh and then there's the Texas played nobody and had the weakest schedule in the SEC, but the SEC is supposed to be the hardest conference. Oh and the ACC, Big 12, and former PAC 12 couldn't play a SEC schedule. While the top teams in the SEC and B1G for the whole season were a Big 12 and PAC 12 team. This is the bias and until there is a legitimate and transparent way to determine the top 25 there will always be bias especially now that the SEC and B1G have consolidated nearly all the Blue Bloods.
Edit: Not that it matters, but my favorite team is in the B1G and benefits from the bias towards the B1G and SEC. I will still call out the bias deserved or not though.
We’ll see how wrong you are if Boise wins and beats these p4 teams. I don’t watch a ton of college football I admit I have a life but I can see when you take Oregon to the limit you can compete with anyone
ОтветитьYou're being emotional Monty.
SOS is a factor, but it's not the only factor. Don't get housed by a terrible team in November if you want to make the playoff.
As a life long Boise state fan, I truely bleed blue...with that said...do i think boise state can compete with big name schools. i dont know, I would love to see it happen. What I get tired of hearing is, boise state doesnt play anyone tough but then is never given the chance to play any one tough. its an endless cycle of you dont play anyone so you wont play anyone. I would love to see someone give them a chance and if they get stomped then we know. but they are never given a chance so then we never know if they really do have what it takes.
With this CFP we will get to see if BSU will get to chance to see what BSU really has.
If I'm correct didn't you say SMU would be middle of the road in a week Acc. Stop it.
ОтветитьI don't want to watch Alabama.
Ответить😂😂😂two pac 12 from a weak conference win the conference in their first try…😂😂😂
ОтветитьNO G5 program should ever get any seed other than #12. #12 every year. Period.
ОтветитьI' m ask u if smu was in the mt west would they all there games
ОтветитьBoise state barely lost too oregon by a last second field goal. They beat unlv who beat 2 big 12 teams. And washington state who beat washington and texas tech.
ОтветитьNo alabama didn't get screwed. The OU loss doomed them. 20 pt betting line, ou had no receivers, no offensive line, and bama gore run out of Oklahoma. The other two losses, you can accept.
Ответитьsouth dakota
Ответитьdoes bill have baggage
Ответитьscott frost /////stay tuned
Ответитьshow me the money ////NIL////...what do you need ...how much can you afford ...whats the going rate
Ответитьlook why you want to bring up refs //they need a camera room with refs watching monitors //you show everything on tv and cameras from every angle see more than a person on the field,,then complain//fix it
Ответитьfootball is cruel you give everything and then get cut//who you play for and why ///championship ,,money,,a degree seems to have been totally forgotten//stay tuned for next season and all the
Ответитьthe big 10,12,sec,acc,need to form a single conference///
ОтветитьNice to see you guys come around on Dilly and ASU 🔱🆙
Ответитьyes people are tired of alabama saying we got ?? 4/5 stars on the team and lose //i kept saying the qb was talented and just needed playing time /they need to move on from milroe he looks bad 1/2 the time
Ответитьwhat happens when boise beats one of the big boys// if the boise team that plays oregon in oregon shows up they will be hard to beat
ОтветитьMercer has been selling their ass to the sec for ever they like getting it in november when everyone is hoping to get a invite
ОтветитьStrength of schedule matters when you lose to good teams, not 6-6 teams. You cannot beat good teams and then turn around and lose to the bad teams. If we are being fair, it offsets each other and only shows a team is inconsistent and therefore leaves their fate up to the opinions of a committee. All Alabama had to do was win one game against a pair of 6-6 teams, and they did not. They had complete control of the situation and decided to let someone else decide for them. They got what they deserved.
Ответитьalabama lost three times as the favorite ///and now listen to the sec say its because the conference is too hard a schedule and they been paying players for a long time now everyone is paying and its fair to do so,, only thing alabama has to worry about is alot of schools have alot more money than alabama//jeanty is in the moutain west and hunter in the big 12 and thats the heisman front runners//you dont need to go to a big school in the sec, you need to play ,not watch from the sidelines .. alabama got beat by vandy thats unheard of ///thats a fart in church and everyone smelled it
ОтветитьAlabama's wins were better but Alabama's losses were worse.
ОтветитьIt simple they don’t have a bad loss bama has 2. And penalizing college football teams for playing in their conference championship games is stupid. The sec was mediocre this year get over it
ОтветитьIf you want a similar strength of schedule, then don't put all the best brand teams into two conferences. Problem is aggravated when the Big Two conferences won't schedule tough opponents because their SOS is tough within their conferences.
ОтветитьThe winner of Penn St and SMU gets automatic entry to semi finals. They could beat Boise St without any starters.
ОтветитьNo, they got beat by Vanderbuilt! They screwed themselves..
