Legendary 200Hp Darracq with Mark Walker at Goodwood Speedweek

I was trying to tell my kids about how this car woks, i might as well be speaking Japanese. I would love to drive it saw it at goodwood, which i watch every year and thought what a brave guy to drive it, went like the preverble shit off a shovel.

I love that engine - it's like a Chevy 409 designed by 19th Century French blacksmiths.

Two years later I am asking myself of what were we thinking of wearing the face nappy?

They do not make them anymore like Mark Walker but I wish they did. A whole generation of kids grew up loving those cars and I am getting to love them now..Incredible!!

That thing is awesome. It was my favourite car at speedweek - it was flying past everyone on the straight, and then losing it all again on the brakes!
What a story too - 2 different owners had it nearly 50 years each!
