As a german, I hate the ELF. It isn't associated with the IFAF and therefore shouldn't be treated legitimattly. It is bad for the longer existing German club american football of the GFL and AFVD, who do ALL of the youth work, the development of players and so on. Just to have the ELF steal all the investment return and make club football worse. To quote the president of the Austrian American Football Federation: "This is a purely private story, there is no regulatory between the European federation and the ELF. This league skims the cream off the top without giving the slightest bit back to amateur football. They are locusts who do what they want."

I think I've watched EVERY kind of football. The old AFL was great before the merger. The World Football League was awesome. CFL, WLAF(NFL Europe), XFL, you name it, I watched it. For pure entertainment or as a conversation starter I have to go with Australian Rules Football or the Lingerie Football League. 😂

Do some videos on the CFL. They take their gridiron very seriously up there. The special teams rules are also a lot better than American rules

I was in one of these teams as a backup last season, so I have a bit insight. We didn't even have a st trick play.. The league isn't bad and it's goal of promoting the sport is good. But at the end (at least the past season) it was just a glorifield, better promoted GFL (German Football League). Playingwise they need to level up.

How much less popular is European league and how to watch? I thought no professional league with streaming exists outside US, which is why nobody talks about any championship game elsewhere besides super bowl.

I wish there was more access to these football leagues. Every Football League, indoor or outdoor / world wide should be made available somewhere for people to watch if it's Pro or semi-pro.

Hi Isaac. I have been watching your channel with great interest. I love the alternative football leagues too! CFL, USFL, XFL, WLAF, WFL, and all the indoor leagues!

I also love your total geekery of punting. When I was a kid Dave Jennings was the best football player in NYC, and he was my hero. Whenever I would get some time in an open field with a football I would practice punting! (This wasn't often, beingvas I grew up in NYC).

I kinda want to get back into it and find a local recreational team, now that I am learning the science of it, and since my doctor us telling me to stop doing armored swordfighting due to my shoulder surgery. Do you think 53 is too old to start?

I remember hearing about German Professional Mens Gridiron Tackle Football back in the WLAF days... I think it was the TE Werner Hipple (spelling may be off... this was a long time ago) playing for a WLAF team and a local team... so it doesn't surprise me at all that it's pretty good...

One thing you need to know is that the "unnecessary jukes" guy and then "fair catch fake" guy are both American players. So be sure they didn't learn how to do that in Europe.
