I was running this for a few hours on my warfare server for arma 2 the other night. No one else gets on but the AI still put up a decent fight in vanilla A2.

I was running a squad like this as the Russians with a BMP2 on Goro a few days ago. In transit I sat commander but I would dismount and let them operate at their discretion but to support the squad, and we were very good at getting to a point quickly, setting rally at a good distance from objective, and putting pressure on the enemy. It wasn't perfect, because we lost the BMP on the second point and our squad was taken out of the fight at the third objective by a mine, but it was useful at getting in quick with firepower for the first half of the game.

the BMP-1 scared the hell out of NATO when it was introduced. That little 73mm gun could kill any NATO tank in service at the time, when previously any infantry squad would be carried in an APC with a machine gun
