I’m in my third year at college for game dev. I had to do some self searching to realize SE was probably a better option for me. Just wished I discovered it earlier

Don't let anyone tell you how to learn was a great line. I've been teaching myself with the Code Combat site. It makes coding seem more like a game. I'm learning quicker and it's actually sticking with me. I worked on a calculator the other day that was almost perfect. I couldn't figure the issue out and it bothered me. Bothered me so bad that when I laid down for the night I kept rewriting the code in my head until I had a fix for it. 😅

Glad I found this channel. I started that very same course just over a month ago and I've been making websites like I never would have believed. My background in programming is basically using Gamemaker, which I learnt when I was 12 (I'm 30 now lol). Always struggled with learning new stuff but something's different this time, things are sinking in.
I'm probably going to soon be unemployed and so I've been looking into bootcamps and it's ridiculously overwhelming wading through all the options. The one thing I feel like I'd really miss from a bootcamp is group work experience and career support, but at least I know there's another way so I have no need to rush into anything.
Should I get a laptop or an desktop
