Fantastic
No assembly lube on the crankshaft journals! 😲 That is going to be a dry start until oil pressure reaches the main and rod bearings. Also, the torque wrench using a "calibrated length" pipe to tighten the main and rod caps, is unique!
Hard working people, and to think that USA invaded their country, and until this day USA keeps stealing their oil. Please never forget that USA owes you millions of lives.
I know why this engine was broken! It lost two cylinders!!!
And i cant wash my car in front off the house in Germany, because some brake dust and a oil drop could fall down😂😂😂😂😂
Buenos mecánicos los talibanes

Old german truck... good old SK.... these trucks last 3 times around the sun with proper maintenance
Clever & resourceful people, great work.
What caused just no.5 big-end bearing to fail?
No Gloves and no Air Tools to make the job easier..Tough folks there.
9.7 litre V6 single turbo in the SK series is a very reliable engine perfectly suitable for hot climates with its relatively cool operating temperatures.
Great job on this partial rebuild using only the basic tools.
Nice thing about individual cyl heads is far less work when just doing essential repairs..
That's a V6. For me, once I open an engine I always prefer to change all cylinder rings and bearings but anyway, this was an emergency and they needed to have a truck up and running very fast. good job for the guys handling the mechanical work
Felicitaciones por esos muchachos trabajadores 🙏🥂🇦🇷
It would have never failed, just change the oil more often.
V8?? this is v6...
Ответитьthese guys are inspirational, from one mechanic to another.
Nice
I’m scathing my head, when I see how they work. Will this engine run better than before 😊

I only see an V 6 Zylinder with Turbo no V 8
A pipe of 1 meter is the same as 120 Newtonmeter...
Man I’m glad I have latest technology tools for my personal working on cars, look at this poor mechanics still using basic tools and using extension to loosen things
