I bought an EcoFlow River 2 Pro last year. We frequently lose power and have had to use it for back up. The last time I charged it there was a crackling sound (arcing?) from the rear of the unit where it plugs in. Anyone else having this problem?

Great job with the video. Would this river 2 pro be a good unit to power a 1/2 hp sump pump with a running wattage of 1050?

Wondering about the voltage of 5521 port. I see they say 3 amp but how many can you draw from them... and does the voltage stay constant at 12.6? thank you

Hi. I bought this model on the strength of your review. To my great displeasure, it seems impossible to turn off Wi-Fi. I'm on hold with EcoFlow even now and the guy actually insisted that there is no way to disable Wi-Fi!

So, I know you've done "all sorts of crazy experiments" with this thing - do you have any super secret tricks? How would you you, yourself, use it in a grid-down situation? Or out in the boondocks, where there is no internet and no Wi-Fi? Maybe I'm missing something, but it just seems nuts to me. Any thoughts?

Hello sir!

I’m thinking about adding the River 2 Pro to my EF arsenal. Question: can I use one of my 400 watt EF solar panels to charge this? I don’t care if the input wattage caps at 200 watts, I just want to make sure it won’t shut down charging all together.

TIA.

One question:
Although charging from multiple source is not supported, what about pass-through? Can I inject solar power between my computer and grid power? So If my computer uses 100W and I have an 80W solar plugged in, will it pull the additional 20W from the wall?

= I can plug in my tv and internet router and an electric reclining chair connected to river 2.
= Then I can plug river 2 to my wall a outlet
= If power goes out, the tv, internet router, recliner will keep on running?
= I understand time that these items will remain on will depend on the power needs of the
appliances.
= I also may need a larger ecoflow or other solar station product

turn it OFF it forgets WiFi and you have to type it all in again
turn it OFF with solar connected and turn it on in the morning it reports 0% charge (|This is FALSE and soon corrects itself at next recharge)

I bought this Sept, '24. for occasional power outage. Beforehand, I tested it. I ran my All-in-one PC, Router, and LED floor lamp for 10 hours. Plus I made a pot of coffee. I used it in service for a 6 hour outage. As the power is never out more than 12 hours it does what I wanted. Next I'll get the Panels.

Thanks for this. Informative and appreciated!!

I bought one of these yesterday and I like it so far. I live on a remote island so my Internet comes in via Satellite.

I have two questions, this time round. 😊

1) Why is there no wattage output registered on the LCD Display when I plug in the Satellite Dish that sends me the WIFI Signal that is necessary to use the Internet? Is it because there is no power consumption from a Dish?

2) In 2025, with the evolution of Power Banks and Batteries , does it reduce the life of the battery to charge it up before it gets low or is drained? The power goers out a lot here, especially in late Autumn. The outages vary from 4 hours to 14 hours or more and can happen several times in a week. So if say the battery is at 66% is it okay to fully charge?

Thanks

Victor
