Got a bi color fattail scorpion a few months ago and she ended up being pregnant 😢 I have never had to deal with babies before and would love any input on how to make sure they survive and are healthy! Hey Petko, great video as always!
A small suggestion for the viewing hole is that you could put a red coloured film on the outside of the glass so that when you remove the cover the light gets filtered to red which most Scorpions can't see, that way he won't be annoyed by the camera lights if you want to have a peek at him.

Aaw, I miss my hairy scorpion. His name was Fred. He (or maybe she, I'll never know) was given to me as a full size adult by a neighbor when his son moved away to a college dorm and couldn't take it. I had Fred for years, and he was so cool to watch.

I don't normally condone wild collection of animals, but I have been very tempted to take a uv flashlight out to go find another one. They're so common out in the Mojave desert that my boyfriend's chickens have figured out how to eat them without getting stung. Wouldn't be that hard to shoo one into a container using a big paintbrush. 😅

I had a H. Arizonensis as a pet in college for about 4 years named Maurice! One of my favorite pets ever. Really would like to get another!

It would be cool to find a way to run a small dim LED Light or Light Strip inside the Scorpion Hide. Fix one inside the Clay & run the cable for Turning it On or Off outside the Cage.

Why not use the balloons made for balloon animals? You know the long thin ones? Still made for some great unintentional comedy 😂😂

Hey! I live in Arizona, where these are native, and my boyfriend got stung by a giant hairy when we were out herping a few months ago. I can tell you right now, it is NOT like a bee sting😭 his entire arm was in pain for 3 days, he was throwing up, had a fever. It was no good. Be careful!!!
