I've just placed a video camera on the ground...place seeds in front of it and record for ~20 minutes. The birds are funny how they hop around..don't "walk"...😊

Cardinals hang out with the house finches. Black eyed juncos and titmouse in the winter for food. We've had a lady cardinal hanging with the black eyed juncos all winter.

My common sense always says feeding animals is not going to be good for nature overall. This is purely for entertainment.

The birds entertain their human counterparts in exchange for a free lunch. That's what I call a quid pro quo. 🙂

A reminder, if you use bird feeders you need to be washing and disinfecting them at least once a week, especially since there are high rates of bird flu right now. Bird feeders help transmit disease

Gen Alpha has too little of an attention span to be entertained by tiny songbirds standing on a suspended plastic tray and occasionally eating seeds and worms.
I know because I'm Gen Z, and we have the 2nd shortest attention span behind them.

These are horrible. Just horrible. I bought one and for the 1st week, it was really neat. I could be at work and show my co-workers how cute the birds are. Then, 2nd week, my cat figured out the birds go to the bird feeder. Needless to say, we were at work watching a cute little blue jay get devoured by my cat! RIP little birdie. 😢
