He's a fighter this is so sad honestly it was hard to watch. But I am so glad he never gave up! He's truly an inspiration. I have dysmotility and problems with my esophagus. Have been on an all liquid diet since January happened after epstein barr virus but I refuse to give up and am happy to live life to its fullest. They don't completely know what's wrong aside from an eosinophilic esophagitis diagnosis, but I am getting through it and managing. It's always important to understand the symptoms of sepsis before it's too late - it's not her fault though a lot of people don't know what to look out for. And I hope he never thinks he's a burden on anyone - I am so glad he is loved unconditionally. When does he get a prosthetic?

I have a deep admiration for his strength and courage. I could not do it. In all honesty I can only hope my family would pull the plug as soon as they knew of the prospects.

The fact that this was caused by bacteria that normally lives harmlessly on the surface of your skin is terrifying! Makes you think that this could happen to anyone, at any time. I deeply admire his wife for being so devoted to him.

Honestly, while I feel for Alex and I acknowledge everything he’s accomplished for himself, I think he’s an extremely lucky man because of Lucy. When I injured my back I didn’t have any support system and it makes it that much harder to do anything for yourself. I’d trade my injury for his any day as long as it meant I had someone to lean on
