I personally don’t like this at all , I know as an original hooky has the right to sing this etc more than most that cover it but nobody even gets close to Curtis ( guess that’s just how it is ) but feel all the arms out trying to command a presence on stage is all too forced etc

The rythmn was hooks, the lyrics were ian curtis's. Now hooks taken the lyrics and made it a new kind of special.

The ending is extremely emotional. When Hooky just playing those simple notes again. Part of a massive important song. He has a moment to reflect himself.

I have been listening to joy division all my life, saw this fine man play in wellington NZ when he last was here, got so close I could smell him, but this version of LWTUA moved me to tears.

God, I hope Ian knows how many of us their music has touched. Especially decades after his passing. Joy Division has gotten me through some horrific times dealing with autoimmune diseases and not wanting to be here.
