Richard Thaler won the Bank of Sweden Prize for economics, there is no Nobel prize for economics awarded by the Nobel foundation. The prize is awarded by the Bank of Sweden in memory of Alfred Nobel, so people commonly refer to it as the Nobel prize in economics. That aside, its still the most regarded prize for that field.
