Today I will show you how an Irish fishing village looks like.

Carrigaholt is a very small village in the west of Clare. There is a post office, a primary school, church, take away, few Irish pubs. There is a well known restaurant called Long Dock, it has been here for over a 100 years in business.

People come to Carrigaholt for a quiet countryside escape, where they can enjoy the sea, dolphins watching and very fresh seafood. The Fishermen go fishing to mainly supply for the local. There is a fish monger here near the castle.
