When I look at videos like this, I always have the impression that Malenia somehow has one or two attack types with a very long range, but on the other hand, she is relatively easy to hit, so you hit her once, then immediately back at a distance , hit her again, distance again, etc., looks like realativly normal melee playstyle, but of course with a certain amount of healthy respect, caution and patience, as is usual in many of such boss fights ... and this tactic has worked very effectively for me so far ... I'm curious how it will be when I finally meet her, it won't be long now ... I like the melee playstyle in Elden Ring, for me it`s very entertaining and that's always a lot of fun.

tbh i just did her on ng+ took me 20 minutes and like 13 deaths (her clone attack got me every time for some reason) i used blashblade was pretty fun and not that hard tbh, was she nerfed or something?

Kind of click baity. Like most elden ring videos. It's trendy. Like saying that Malenia is the toughest souls type boss along side the excuse that she isn't meant to be a boss in elden ring, instead intended for SSDT. Saying she is the toughest is simply an opinion formed by skill. I've found Darkeater Midir or Friede more difficult. Slogans like"prepare to die" and "git gud or get rekt" are long lived but many shut it out. As if the games should seem tough but should be completed with ease. Ironic. As if to say, trending new players to the serious should need any skill. (Or in order to farm runes/souls, you simply jump off a cliff, swing a weapon, without the work of actually grinding. A reflection of this self entitled generation.)With all that said, my only gripe with Elden Ring is that since it's so trendy, new souls type players use it as a catalyst for views or to feel impowered in the gaming/souls community. They don't know who bosses like Fume Knight, Dancer of Boreal Valley, or Kamaleet.

its sad he rated that an A tier boss, cuz watching this, I would to if i played like he did and jump attack spammed for 2000 dmg and ran away not actually learning the fight. This boss is perfect, if you cant avoid the water fowl attack, then you deserve to die to it. No in between, I dont think the move takes away from the fight at all. Every boss has an attack that you watch out for, just because hers is the most extreme one doesnt make much sense to me to degrade the boss itself comparativley
