this was absolutely stunning everything was explained perfectly not too brief not too overexplained, just love it. the entire team did a great job ❤️❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьLoved, learned lots!
ОтветитьI'm also from a small town in Poland and I went through similar trials and tribulations in the United States. After several years of trying fashion photography I gave up on it because the logistics of putting a shoot together turned out to be too much in my area and within other constraints at hand. To simplify things I opted for just me behind the camera and the models wearing no makeup and no clothes for the most part. I also decided to do mostly black and white photography since the subjects were monochromatic anyway. Twigs and glass I also choose for my subjects aren't very colorful either. I'm retiring in Poland and planning to work on some projects involving color and costumes so that's I why I found this video. It's very informative and and your work, Joanna, is fantastic. Dziękuję i pozdrawiam.
ОтветитьA great instructor. Hope to see more of her.
ОтветитьCompletely disagree on Model Mayhem, especially in Los Angeles. Awful site, poorly designed and chock full of deviants and hypersexualization of models.
ОтветитьI've done cosplay photography for a hobby for 7 years or so, and it's fascinating to see how you're doing so many things in a similar way - but much more organized. Having developed an interest in fashion photography and doing research I've been wondering how a shoot looks behind the scenes, and watching this masterclass makes me realize that the biggest difference betweem what I've done and what you do is that you absolutely know what you're doing in directing the shoot.
ОтветитьYou have such a great knowledge and experience thank you for sharing
Ответитьastonishing
ОтветитьThank you so much Joanna 💐
ОтветитьEasy, clear and directly to the point. thank you. look forward to see part 2. I know it is already available but tomorrow I've gotta work :)
ОтветитьThis is so informative ❤️ thank you for this
Ответитьdidn't know London had "frogs" problem, lol. jokes aside, thnx for the tutorial :)
ОтветитьWhat camera setting are automatic (white balance, shutter speed, ISO)?
ОтветитьIs your on site monitor the same as the monitor you use at home to color grade? If not, what type monitor is it?
ОтветитьThank you so much! I loved the video, I loved the explanation, I loved everything, very well done!
ОтветитьDiscovering you like a week ago was absolutely the most inspiring thing that's happened to me as an amateur photographer 🙏🏼 THANK YOU
ОтветитьThanks for this gift to us.
ОтветитьYou are the best
ОтветитьThis was so great to watch! Thank you for sharing the whole process with us. Very inspiring! Hope to see more videos like this from you soon <3
Ответитьwhat type of 50 and 85mm sigma you re ussing?:) nice video btw
ОтветитьDo you prefer C1 to Lightroom?
ОтветитьJoanna is the bomb!!!
ОтветитьAmazing Masterclass, you have simplified all the problems I encountered when I photograph, Thank you very much for sharing your excellent knowledge with us
Ответитьif using a single light, the best lighting position for beauty is eye level, that is a fact. controls the eyebrow, nose, and chin shadows the best. i also like higher up, but you get shadows in the areas i just named. can use a bead board to bounce back in if necessary.
ОтветитьLove your videos. Great explanations and I like your focus on color. Great content.
ОтветитьI can't tell you how much I like your work, teaching and this video..
ОтветитьThis was an incredibly well done , and highly informative masterclass. I must admit some confusion though. I agree with your lens choices and your explanation for them was perfect. That said, when you are shooting with a 50mm lens as per the displayed information and your own comments, the lens you’re using does not appear to be a Nikon 50mm lens. Am I mistaken?
Thank you so much for a fabulous presentation
This is an invaluable gift. Thank you very much for your time and the effort that this implies. I love your work.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьAmazing video, Thanks so much for share your stunning work with us!!
ОтветитьGreat video! Do you maybe have the colour wheel you use available in pdf/jpg, please?
ОтветитьThis is Netflix level of production… thank YOU for sharing your knowledge for free it’s life changing
ОтветитьThank you for once again sharing your experience in a great format!
ОтветитьWhile not polished like tutorials you’d buy from a production company, this contains all the information you’d need to know for the creative process to a photography production. Very nice!!
ОтветитьIncredible work, amazing teacher! I was originally drawn to your deep grasp of color. Your process of working with a team and model is equally impressive. Thank you.
ОтветитьYou are an amazing teacher ..
Ответитьthank you so much for this video - this is very educational.
ОтветитьYou are the best ever
ОтветитьThis is illegal, how can such amazing thing be freeeeeeeeee

ОтветитьMadam you are awesome. I don't intend to be a fashion photographer but I have learned a lot.
ОтветитьAnother amazing tutorial, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us..
I also would like to know which "color wheel" you use and where you bought it?
Thank you so much, the best class I've ever seen. I always have issues with exposure and now I know, it is an ongoing battle to check and re-check. Your work is so beautiful and thank you for showing us how it's all done.
ОтветитьStunning. I wish I could be Joanna's assistant for a few hours. So Inspiring and thanks for sharing so generously. Encourages me to continue to get better. She made the model look absolutely beautiful - although the model is already most beautiful, but the images really do her justice.!!
