I'm just discovering your channel now and thoroughly enjoying devouring pieces like this. As someone who works mostly as a "one-man-band" for very agile production, it's a real pleasure to get to see behind the scenes on this style of work. Thanks for your thorough walk-through!
ОтветитьI don't know but I just believe in the kind of creative work put together by you my friend , thank you so much 👍
ОтветитьSo cool my man. Good stuff. Creative thinking!
ОтветитьYour lighting breakdowns are very helpful! Keep dropping more so I can apply it in Film School.
Ответитьlol loved the bike! I’d do the same! Thanks for your vid’s!
Ответитьhey kaka habari yako ningependa tufamiane
ОтветитьI think I watched all your videos, but I don't think I caught you talking about focus, focus pulling vs AF vs MF and stuff like that, I'd really like to see an entire episode on that from you.
ОтветитьLearning so much from your vids Lewis! Would love to hear your technical breakdown of Default Angel <3
Ответитьjust found you today and love these videos! only thing i would love to know is what focal length you used for the shots
ОтветитьIve never been a shaky cam fan - mainly because people who love it uses it on a lot of things. Really loved the shot of the cyclist though!
Ответитьholy crap i took so much away from this video, great breakdown, and you're insanely talented Lewis!
Ответитьwhat would your job be called because this is exactly what i want to do
ОтветитьCould watch these all day. Please make more 🙏
ОтветитьHey man ! Are you the one editing all your commercials? Thanks.
ОтветитьHave you ever spoken about your SDI protocol? I’ve just switched to red and with that comes SDI and there’s so many contradictory responses to which is the correct Sdi protocol to not blow it out.
ОтветитьHey Lewis, wanted to ask about your white balance settings in the tunnel. Was there a particular reason why you wouldn't want to get a more 'accurate' white balance in camera, knowing you can add blue in the grade? Is it a speed/cost thing?
ОтветитьThe corporate conference room, did you shoot light into the bounce or simply filter the existing ceiling lights?
ОтветитьYou're an angle!!! Thanks ~
Ответитьthank you for your knowledge, it's help me for more information <3
ОтветитьHello
in the piano commercial, did you use fresnel for lighting? I would also like to know what lamp you used and at what temperature
I'm about to record the same scene and I hope you can help me
Thank you very much
Greetings from Mexico City
You bring these seemingly high budget commercials down to a human level. They seem achievable because of the way you explain to lesser resources folk. Great content.
ОтветитьI totally agree about What client's expectations and our own don't necessarily match all the time..
ОтветитьIs there a link for the commercial ?
Ответитьmate, your channel is one of the most helpful channel's ive come across. thanks for the great content!
ОтветитьHey Lewis, I’m curious as to why you chose to light the first scene of the guy on the piano like that as opposed to using your litecloth. I’m figuring out what lights to buy (600D vs mega litecloth ) and this would help make my decision!
Ответить"mayo ad" probably referring to the Mayo Clinic hospital system.
ОтветитьVery great! Where can we see the finished commercial?
ОтветитьIs saying dop instead of dp an Australian thing?
ОтветитьVery good work. Thanks for the valuable information.
Ответитьtnks bro! saludos de Bolivia
Ответитьwhy did you shoot 2300K for the blue hallway shot and not warmer to then correct in post? surely gives more flexibility if you want to change the colour?
Ответитьgreat channel!
ОтветитьHey Lewis, I find the main challenge of filmmaking so far has been deciding what path to take. For example, do I lean into just cinematography, just editing, etc. or do I start a production company so I can keep doing a bit of everything, and hire crew as needed? I wonder if you'd share some of your thoughts on the subject. It's hard navigating without film school or many mentors. Cheers man, love your channel.
ОтветитьKind of random question but do you have a preferred color space / gamma space that you use with reds?
Ответитьwhere can I buy that 4x4 HiLight frame? I can't find a frame of HiLight anywhere online
ОтветитьWhen you talk about shooting some of these shots pretty blue at 2800k, 3200k , I’m confused I thought that was a warm temperature. Are you just talking like relative to the lights? I thought bluer light was above 5500? I’m still learning so forgive me lol 😂
Ответитьcan you link the items you used to rig the camera on the bike?
ОтветитьI don't want to email you just to get the name but is this the Falcon Eyes 12 or 18?
Looking at picking one up but not sure what size to get.
wow you from Perth !! Awesome mate !
Ответитьbecause I am about to buy a Aputure Spotlight I always wonder which lens do you use the most: :)
ОтветитьI love it when do the breakdown, thank you
