Pro Tipp - if you want to make models look the same size, use bigger focal lengths for taller people and shorter ones for shorter people. A 70mm makes a 2 meter guy look like 1,80m if done right and a 1,50m girl might look like 1,70m when using a 35mm 🤙
Ответить85mm is actually the prefered focal lenght for portrait photos
Ответитьsince NEW YEARs. dyamn am watching this exactly after a year ( kind of ) Dec 18 today🎉
ОтветитьHe's hot at 50mm 🤭
Ответить70mm is beat for natural looking photos
Now you know why you look different from what you see in your mirror
Kinda sounds like a debate because so many people like when you said you dislike
Ответитьi truly don’t care about my audience as long as i’m looking good in the shot it’s all that matter lmao… jk (but it’s true) ahahah
Ответитьthe focal lenght of my 50mm on eos 7d looks different when i compare it with my 5d mark iv, the 5d mark iv is wider, why?
ОтветитьThe focal length of the lens is not the factor that is affecting the perspective and shape-shifting of the head and facial features. Instead, it is strictly the subject-lens distance that is causing these changes in appearance. The selection of the most flattering subject-lens distance should be the first consideration. And then the focal length of the lens is selected to accommodate the desired subject-lens distance. If the subject is a woman and she has a roundish or squarish face (making her appear heavy-set), she may appear more flattering in her portrait if her portrait is taken from a closer distance that will give her a more narrow oval face shape. If the model appears gaunt and anorexic, it may be advisable to increase the subject-lens distance to broaden her face a bit to make her appear healthier and more attractive in her portrait. If you are being paid to take portraits, it is generally advisable to flatter your subject. What works for one person may not be the best choice for the next person. So there is no "right" distance and no "right" focal length.
ОтветитьJust stumbled on this, this is one of the best very quick explanations of portrait focal lengths I've ever seen. Good job!
ОтветитьNice shirt! Do you play?
ОтветитьDid you film this vertically or horizontal then edit it to vertical?
ОтветитьLol you look so fucking slim at 24mm now i just noticed
ОтветитьSo you're normally shooting 24mm, i.e. 16mm equivalent on e.g. a Sony APS-C?
Ответитьget well soon
Ответитьwow
Ответить70 is the most beautiful
Ответить50mm is my least liked focal length.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU
ОтветитьYou're beautiful at all focal lengths
ОтветитьWhy not 50 or 70mm with your upper body and arms in the frame too? That way there is no distortion and we can still see your hand movements
ОтветитьTo me 70mm looks more appealing to watch
ОтветитьAny tips for getting a good astrophotography camera?
ОтветитьI hope you better soon!
ОтветитьYou know you are too early when there are only 4 comments
