Karate's front kick is an amazing technique requires high level of harmony between muscles and nerves. You basically just lift your leg without moving the other making it an unpredictable kick.

The Whittaker KO sealed it for me. Two of the toughest most lovable guys going at it. He smoked Robert who went UP a weight class an archived great things.

If only in some alternate universe we got Wonderboy vs Stylebender same weight class in their prime.

You only get to this level when you train since you’re a kid, this guy is truly special, he literally uses all his resources, so freaking smart.

I love the story of how he got the nickname "Wonderboy". Hes been one of my favorite fighters since he joined the ufc. If he had developed a competent wrestling ability early on he would have been the successor to GSP. I actually think wonderboy has better technique than gsp with striking but at the same time its not apples to apples with their techniques but as an overall fighter gsp is more well rounded. Regardless, what a great career and all around great guy. Props.

The only thing that i dislike about mma is ground and pound, it's kind of how can i say it... Dishonorable to beat down an opponent like that after you already knock him out.

MMA is enjoying its last decade of fighters from different training backgrounds. The younger fighters will have more balanced techniques, but the fight won't be as fun as this.
