Thank you Gibson for bringing us the delightful experience of witnessing the godfather of metal narrate his journey
ОтветитьGood job Gibson
Ответитьi love him so much, i could sit and listen to him forever. megadeth saved my life in so many ways and im so thankful for em. ❤️
ОтветитьYou know .. when Megadeth first started out.. it took me a bit to really relate with you... It was just so dark and seemed misguided to me... Once so far so good came out.. you had my ear from peace sells.. but that third album really worked .. hook in mouth Cliff's sing.. the pain and anguish and horror of it all came out through your guitar.. it was utter madness and confusion... And sadness.. . You've had tragedy in you life before that.. but nothing that hit you so hard as it did... It hit us all.. I mean fuck crushed by a tour bus because sime lame ass fool fell asleep driving... Lucky they didn't go over no pun intended .. over a Cliff.. I mean they did but.. damn .. they all four could have been lost..... I'm a musician also and the scar from Bon Scott has never healed for me.. I was at the Salem armory show the night before you're death in Eugene Oregon.. I was numb... I e seen you guys many times and the thought of you gone was just fucked ... You'd finally gotten the right people in the band and we're really starting to kill it... I was in school band from third grade through 11th.. treble and bass clef brass .. tuba to trumpet and everything in between.. was an army brat so we moved every couple of years.. I sing maybe .. I've been in a few bands but nothing as serious as I'd like to have found.. .. im glad you didn't die Dave .. tornado of souls is the. Best song ever . Bon was the best Rick n roll singer that ever lived.. and you.. well you're Megadeth arent you... Thank you Dave .. would love to meet you and hang out fior a few.. stay on stay well love you brother..
ОтветитьMy Megadeath story:
My uncles were music guys and metal heads really.
My uncle Tim, god rest his soul, was a big part of my childhood. He was my mothers younger brother. He served in the Marine Corp and then came back to Minnesota and started a family. I spent a lot of time with him and my cousins growing up.
He turned me on to Metallica and Motörhead and Megadeth. Megadeth was always something I saw as a deeper layer to the whole metal landscape. It’s like, everyone knows Metallica and AC/DC. But people who dig Megadeth were the “real” music fans, I felt.
Anyway I grew into my teenage years and Megadeth really grabbed me and I spent money from my first job to buy all the CDs and developed a great love for Dave and Megadeth.
My uncle Tim turned me on to other bands like Tool, which was such a big influence on my life as a kid from a small Minnesota town. It opened my mind to a whole different far out way of thinking.
Anyway, my uncle Tim passed suddenly and without any warning in his early 50s about 3 years ago. All this music makes me think of him.
Mustaine is the man 🤘🤘🤘
ОтветитьI love Dave . What a great dude. Legend
ОтветитьHappy Birthday Dave
Ответитьhe so bitter
ОтветитьNo love for pitrilli, drover, broderick?
Ответитьborn in 78. sounds like a perfectly normal childhood to me man ✊️
ОтветитьI hate the way Dave sings but the way he plays guitar is just on another level.
One of the guitar gods
One of the reasons why I’ve always gravitated to and loved megadeth is because of its groove. It feels like you’re listening to syncopated jazz, funk, or Motown beats whilst bouncing you’re head to alternating rhythms.
Megadeth is groovy, man.
First time singing feels exactly like Dave says, 'a nail hammered through your eyeball.
ОтветитьA crime that this interview doesnt hace subtitles
ОтветитьI love his Lars impression😂😂
ОтветитьWhat an absolute legend.
ОтветитьMEttete i sottotitoli please
ОтветитьI met Dave at Download Festival 2005. He is a really nice man. I remember it was after the gig and I was sweaty after the pit and I told him 'sorry I'm sweaty i've been in the pit' and he grabbed my shoulder and pulled me in for a photo. Cool guy.
ОтветитьI lov Metallica first 3 albums... But im so very happy dave got the boot.. Because when i want to rock the F*_ out i got megadeth to pop in cd player 🤘🤘🤘... F*_ lars and james they are human turds anyway... Dave would have had 2 of whooped both there butts in time anyway... Heck watch any Metallica bio and see how lars and james act like little b*tches
ОтветитьAfter Love u to death song... ? Is the 2 tone tan guitar dave is playing ???.. Wild looking
ОтветитьBut mustaine is cool..crazy fucker haha
ОтветитьMetallica is better. Lol
ОтветитьI never heard of them till countdown album was released , they came to town and I went and ended up getting to meet the man, but I was 18 and to be honest I didnt even know his name at the time but it didnt matter he was the singer for Megadeth but he was kind of a dick and well he was ....and it took me 15 years and then it just hit me after seeing something about Metallica on TV , sure had no clue he was part of that but this Dumbass had on a Metallica shirt when I met him . I remember nick and marty looking at me and laughing and I just thought it was my tall goofy ass and it may had been but I think the shirt may played a part to. Sorry Dave some of us are from Kentucky we dont have a clue whats going on in the real world. And yes the cousin thang is true .
ОтветитьNeed to check out megadeath more
ОтветитьSay what you want about Dave Mustaine, but he is the true originator of auto tune.
Ответитьthe living god🔥
ОтветитьYessss🎉
ОтветитьThey killed his wife and his baby.
ОтветитьOh to be an angry teen with a guitar and leather jacket in the 80s during the rise of metal writing killer songs fucking jamming around on tour. In my dreams.
ОтветитьOrdered! Ofcourse! Love all the books from Alain and Per.. and this episode was really great! Looking forward to have these books in my hands!
Ответитьlyrics please
ОтветитьHes got great hair for being in his 60s.
ОтветитьA cop. A cop is why Megadeth is what it is. Fuck me.
ОтветитьI could hear Dave speak for hours like a grandson listen to his grandfather’s histories
ОтветитьZOV!!!
ОтветитьWhen it comes to an overall library of work, the Megadeth collection sits at the top.
ОтветитьKicked out of high school. Kicked out of night school.
Forced into college.
That doesn't add up.
When I hear Mustaine talk, I immediately think of Dave McGowan's book about all of the weird shit that happened in Laurel Canyon.
Megadeth far more and more superior many years to come than Metallica. Since the black album Metallica plummet lost in the sea. Falling, down turn. I really dont understand with them. I dont recognize and i dont like Metallica music since the black album. As the the contrast i think megadeth album since countdown extiction is getting better and better and far more productive. Respect from me for megadeth especially Dave Mustaine.
ОтветитьHe still doesn’t quite get why he was kicked out of the band, in every interview it’s never his fault.
ОтветитьDave Mustaine is The Godfather Of Thrash.
ОтветитьIn Dave We Trust!
ОтветитьRIP Gar.
ОтветитьHe looks a bit tired, cool stories though :)
ОтветитьhAnGeR 18 i kNoW to MuCh!!
ОтветитьWow !!!
Very uplifting and great interview !!!!
What a wonderful talent !!!
Not that I thought about it much, but I have a lot of respect for Dave Mustaine now after hearing this interview.
Seems like a pretty righteous dude !
😁👍
