WatchOS 11 Beta 2: The Good, The Bad, and The Buggy

WatchOS Developer Beta 2 just dropped at 624 MB for my Apple Watch Ultra 1, and I'm excited to dive into the latest changes. In this video, I'll cover some new features and updates that I haven't mentioned before. One of the standout updates is that reminder items now appear in the Calendar app, which is super convenient for keeping everything in one place. Unfortunately, four watch faces removed in Beta 1—Chronograph, Explorer, Numerals, and Series—haven't returned in Beta 2, and I doubt they will. However, the Series watch face might have a slim chance of making a comeback.

Another interesting update is with the action button, which now lets you customize it on the fly, although it's still a bit buggy. Several bugs have been fixed, like the charging speed and complications not displaying correctly. However, some issues, like the depth sensor freezing, still persist. I also cover smaller updates and fixes, such as improved cycle tracking and podcast app stability. Battery life is still up in the air, but Beta 1 was pretty solid for me.
