HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!🏡✨ This week I am tackling some DIY home projects before the holidays! We are hosting this year and I want to get the house up to speed before starting with our holiday decor! If you are working on spaces of your home too I hope this gives you some motivation to get started on those projects! Todays video is filled with tips & tricks and must have product selections! Everything will be linked below in the description box :)
Ответить😍😍😍😍😍
ОтветитьLove your ideas Kristen, but please change the door knob I noticed it straight away, also don’t forget to paint the hinged strip of timber that you see when your door is open. Your home is looking beautiful and can’t wait to see what is next. Cheers from Australia
ОтветитьFirst time I see an oven in a corridor! Your kitchen is way better in white but it's making cabinets dated
Ответитьthe white bookshelf on the right from the door bothers me since you did the room. the white looks too hard and as if someone with no idea about decorating just put in a random piece of furniture in there, it also does not match the color scheme on other side of the door. i think it would look way better if you colored it frosted toffee or a bit lighter.
ОтветитьIt may be different in person but from video, the white walls are too cool for the antiqued cream cabinets.
Ответитьalways give people instructions like your speaking to a four year old. people aren’t as smart as you give them credit for.
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьThe white paint looks soo much btr!!
ОтветитьWhat about the rule of 1,3,5 etc. for decor or vignettes. Doesn't that apply to gallery walls or other hanging art?
ОтветитьDidn't notice the door knob 😂
ОтветитьHi Kristen, Woww 🤩 your new white color in your kitchen is so beautiful !everything looks So beautiful and modern, maybe you could paint your kitchen cabinets white color too and the baseboard so all look new in natural colors. Your office door looks so nice good choice 👍🏼 thank you for the great tips. Enjoy your beautiful home.☕️🫶🏼
ОтветитьWho else whipped out the tape measure to see if their pictures were hung at the right level? Me! Me! Another great video, Kristen! You pack so much information into your videos, and I appreciate how well produced they are because they are so engaging and you don’t repeat the same sentence 5 times while you’re thinking of what to say. You are truly my favorite You Tube designer!
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьI loved the green, but understand why you changed it to white. I love your Christmas tree ❤
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you! Can you link the chair?
ОтветитьUnless you plan on installing more door knobs with plates you could probably get away with not changing it. Unless it bothers you..then I would fix it..
ОтветитьI like that plate upside down
ОтветитьYour home is beautiful! I feel picky saying this, but I thought I’d mention that you should paint the side of the door where your hinges are. Either white of the colour of your room. It’s just that everything looks so amazing. Sorry. A fellow Canadian
ОтветитьWhite walls make the cabinets look dingy…who paints w/o frog tape and drop cloths? Change those wall switches to white.
ОтветитьCan you tell me what kind of panting brushes you used?
ОтветитьYou forgot to paint around the stove hood 😅
ОтветитьThe doorknob should stay as it is.
ОтветитьOh my gosh I have those exact same knobs and backplates throughout my house! It took me a solid year to purchase and replace all of the 90s brass builder grade knobs, but I bought one doorknob each month, and just finished the project a couple of months ago -- I was so excited to see you had the same combo! I did the oil rubbed bronze, but really debated getting the unlacquered brass. We used glass oval knobs on all of the bathroom doors. FWIW I think the backplate upside down looks as good as it does the other way round. I love following your new house progress -- it kind of makes me wish I was updating a new house again LOL.
ОтветитьHello. You are so cute . I trully love your channel with all your ideas ect.
I think i need you just here too. ❤Japan.
Hi!
What a difference it made !😍
I have to ask. Your sweatpant and sweather? Where is it from?
Have a good Christmas season!🎄

It does not require an electrician to change out your outlets. It just takes a screw driver after you have turned the power off and is a super easy DIY job. We change them every house we've moved into and taught our daughters how to do it in their homes.
ОтветитьI would paint the hood as well.
ОтветитьChange the door knob, i noticed it before you even mentioned it. It would drive me crazy.
ОтветитьJust a suggestion.why don't you take down one wall from the kitchen and make all your rooms one big open concept house.i in particular don't like closed off rooms.i feel it makes the house closed off and less cozy.
ОтветитьI really like the doorknob that way. It looks like it’s supposed to be like that.
ОтветитьYou make painting look so easy!! I have done a lot of interior painting, and it was always exhausting!
ОтветитьWhy don’t you paint your doors before hanging them , it saves from taping your hinges ?
ОтветитьCan you link your grey sweat set? It’s so cute
ОтветитьYou are so amazing! Can't say it enough. Love your work always. xo
ОтветитьI feel like rich dark cabinets would look so good against the white backdrop, You could use brass hardware. Your house is coming together so nicely. Love the office door!
ОтветитьYou would never notice the upside down door knob things like that would usually drive me crazy, but that does not stand out as awkward. Love your office. The mirror is OK, but you had such beautiful art. I think I would put one of the pieces there instead of the mirror. I just think the mirror is too plain. I love the gallery wall in the guest room.
ОтветитьAmazing 😮❤
ОтветитьFor me, the upside down doorknob is a lot better. It looks more balanced for me.
ОтветитьWish I had your knowledge girl ❤
ОтветитьI love everything you did Kristin!!! You have such a beautiful home. I really love the chairs you have in your sunroom and the one in the bedroom that you said was the comfiest chair in the house. I would love to know where you purchased them from as I am on the hunt for something similar myself. I have repainted areas in so many homes makes such a huge impact for such a small cost.
ОтветитьGreat job as always, Kristen! You have such a beautiful home and adding your magic touch makes it even more beautiful. If you’re ever looking to adopt an adult, I’m available! 😆
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьWhere did you get the switch covers?
ОтветитьFirst of all I love your videos. About the door knob, I didn’t notice and had no idea it was on the wrong way until you said something. It still looks great 👍🏾 🫶🏽🫶🏽
ОтветитьLooks so much better ❤
ОтветитьLooks Great, luv it
ОтветитьWow what a change with the paint looks so much brighter
Looks great Kristin
A cute little vintage console table would look so nice under that mirror in your kitchen!
