ОтветитьIt's truly true...in India when We see ladybird, we make a wish...
Since Britishers and Indians have similar culture,so I'm willing to say this to you, how lovely Bird it is!
But to be honest, i didn't know about this earlier but one day my mother and i went to go for a stroll after which my mother had seen a ladybird and then she told me in an instant that "would you like to make a wish" i said where?
Then saw me that ladybird , that's how i got to know about it.
Love you from India.❤

ОтветитьHi ma'am can you please tell me pronounciation or pronunciation which is right?
ОтветитьThey tell me in sweet fragrant meadows of dawn and dew. Now I must admit my English isn't good enough to describe how beautiful these words sound like.
ОтветитьHi Katharine! In your video, you mentioned the word "forest." I thought that was American English and that "the woods" is British English. Am I wrong? I'm interested in British English. I discovered your channel a few days ago and I enjoy it very much. I want to improve my English so that I will be able to read "Jane Eyre" in the original language one day. For now, I'm at a B1 level. Greetings, Kasia (Katie) from Poland.
ОтветитьVery nice teacher and lesson
ОтветитьLove from West Bengal
ОтветитьHi katherine! Your lovely video truly helps me learn more and love even more British English! Thanks so much for your lesson!!😘

ОтветитьHey Kathrine, I always consider your videos as my morning snack. I learn quite a lot everyday by looking at your videos. Bravo 🙌
ОтветитьWhen you're talking about toadstools and mention fairytales that's exactly what I pictured (before you even mentioned fairytales)... Somewhere in deep forest toadstools growing wild, bluebells and other wildflowers, big animals appearing here and there. Little beasties running wild and dragonflies fluttering in the mist... I got carried away 😁❤
ОтветитьHi.Kathleen, I need language lessons. How can I contact you?
ОтветитьMy lovely Katherine
ОтветитьThank you for the lovely words along with their pronunciations and meanings. I loved the way you pronounced the word "fragrant." It's a shame that the beautiful toadstool is toxic; I hope not all beautiful things are harmful. This April here in Leeds was quite dry, with fewer April showers due to climate change. I am a newcomer and loved your beautiful educational content. Thank you!! ❤💗🧡

I love the word “Flutter” it is very poetic. William Wordsworth wrote a poem called “ wondering lonely as a cloud “ and this word appears in the poem when he talk about the daffodils 🌼 fluttering and dancing in the breeze. So lovely poem.
