This song holds so much meaning to me. I was stuck in an abusive relationship. I was suicidal. I was so close to not being here. And then i met my best friend. He means the world to me. Hes more than a best friend to me. He cared when I thought I'd be alone forever. He doesn't know how close i was to not living anymore, but i hope he knows how grateful i am to have him in my life. This song has a different to me than religion and spirituality. Its him. I know its crazy.. but i think i found my twin flame. Everything i learn is just more to admire and adore.

And if you are reading this Doc, thank you. You saved me and i never had the heart to tell you i was in such a dark place. But i appreciate you by my side. I look forward to getting to know you.. and maybe to one day love you.

I was about to give up on worship. in addition to my previous comment from a couple of days ago., there is another connection i can make to this song and its got me going again, 😭, The love of a Mother, I was born with a disability, can't walk, from the age of 5 she had to do the job of both parents after my Father went walkies if you know what i mean, and she did it absolutely amazingly, ive had good times, shes there, ive had bad times, shes there, I know for an absolute fact i wouldnt be the person i am now if it wasnt for her. she is the voice that calms the storm, she is my castle walls and so on, and boy have i needed that sometimes.

i'll be honest, i don't get the God comments, this song made this 48 year old rock fan reach for the tissues, not because i felt Gods love or anything, but because i know how it feels to feel like that about another person, to have someone in your life that is the reason you wake up every morning, and, more than that, knowing that you are the reason they do. there is no greater feeling than that.
