Sick!
ОтветитьI just finished my 2 lamp , and when I connected the cables to the first one, the lights flashing every time I touched the channel or when i touch the other light. What could be happening ?
ОтветитьThat how a real man does it! Puts glue on the wood on carpet.... with NO liner!
ОтветитьLike 👍
ОтветитьWhat is the difference in using the ESP32 controllers vs the new Domestic Automation LLC controller?
ОтветитьI tried hooking up my lights through a esp32s and my lights just keep flashing? Can you help
Ответитьsong from the end?
ОтветитьI'm a noob to leds but your videos have help me so much. But.... but.... I have a thousand questions I could ask you😂😂😂
ОтветитьGood idea for a floor lamp
Ответитьneat idea! might have to make me some. but i wonder what else you could use instead of wood?
Ответитьim pulling my hair out!! I ordered everything that you had in this video. WLED is loaded and I can control it, but NO LIGHTS. Common ground. Power is on the ESP32, D2 is set, 3000mA, SK6812 set. What am I missing?
Can i see you WLED settings. I have 1 LED lights on
music name? =)
ОтветитьNot sure if this has been done or thought about. add another setup "front firing" so you have one LED strip firing towards the wall and one firing into the room. Do-able?
ОтветитьNice video. One suggestion and something I'd like to see would be the overall project cost and what folks can expect to pay if they wanted to try this.
ОтветитьSick
Ответитьwhy are defuser more expensive than the led strip them self jesus
ОтветитьThese look amazing, very nice work. I have a corner crying out for something like this. Was a little surprised that only superglue fixed the uprights to the base, obviously it works ok?
ОтветитьWhat's the name of the song at the end
Ответитьdig2go would have been perfect for this project
ОтветитьHi, wonderful DIY Lamp. Which wood do you use? Can you tell the size in cm?😊
ОтветитьAnyone found where to purchase the 30mm version of the v-shaped diffuser channel? Everywhere I’ve looked only carrie’s 16mm
ОтветитьGreat project. Have been enjoying a number of your videos since recently discovering them. Very nice shots, editing, and commentary in all of them.
ОтветитьGreat video as per usual. What's the music track at the end?
ОтветитьLink for the V channel is not right. And I can’t find the flat back v channel like the one you used on their page either.
ОтветитьMerci pour la vidéo je l'ai est reproduite pour mes enfants et ils sont ravis merci pour vos vidéos
ОтветитьHey Chris, I did everything, and I have gotten no LEDs to light up. I am getting power to the ESP32 with WLED, so I know the power works, and I resoldered the joints to make sure. I am using 60 LEDs. I think I am going to try 30 lets see if that helps. I might have to return the LEDs I might have DOA.
OKAY SO am looking at this build list and the power supply is different from the one I purchased is the Solding video "JOVNO 5V 15A Adapter, 100-240V AC to DC 5 Volt 15 Amp 75W Power Supply, 12A 10A 9A 8A Converter RGB LEDs Driver 5.5x2.5mm Tip 7.5ft Cord for Christmas Lights WS2812B WS2811 WS2813 SK6812 LED Strips"
Does this matter or is it to much Amps going through the Leds. Gonna buy the Powersupply linked in this video to see if that's the issue. I hope I didn't burn the LEDs out.
Where is the ESP-32 hidden in the final installation?
ОтветитьLooks great :). I have this stuff lying around. Thought of a similar use-case for my esps. Great work Chris!
Ответитьthe glue up on the carpet was a bit scary
ОтветитьHi Chris i have a question. I made to lamps each 90 leds and i connected it to one esp 8266 same as in your video with external power supply now it’s the question in Wled Led preferences i need to set it to 90 leds or 180 because i have 2x90leds or i need to set 90 leds because it is connected parallel to one esp. and a second question which power i need to setup? Bz default its 850mAh. Thank you so much
ОтветитьThose connectors seem like the way to go! Thanks for the tutorial.
Ответитьhow to make the rgb image go with the tv image?
ОтветитьHow many complete lights could run off of one controller and power supply?
ОтветитьI see you have links to LEDs on Amazon, but are these the ones you used? What is the LED / meter you are using to not have any hotspots?
ОтветитьIsnt the 5V direct connection going to kill the board since its 3.3V tolerance?
ОтветитьThanks for the great video!
1) Can you share the dimensions/height of all the wooden bars?
2) Have you tried some similar other LED strips, but 12 volts instead of 5? I think 12 volts will be better if there are some huge distances between room corners.
3) I am new to RGBW-led strips. Can you explain why you use the ESP32 controller at all? What benefits it has? Can I buy some smart led strips with embedded Bluetooth/Wi-fi feature, and just connect them to a 12v power supply and use it in projects like this?
NEXT VIDEO: MODERN CHANDELIER .... You can do it bro. Nice vídeo ideas... chalenge time.
ОтветитьWatching you glue everything up in your living room over your freshly vacuumed taupe carpet gives me anti-ASMR.
Apologies if I've somehow misidentified your workshop as your living room. I'm sure lots of people have beige carpet in their shop. I mean, what? Is this an inside joke that I'm not in-on or green screen CGI floor replacement or uh...? Thinking about how many thousands of loose razor-sharp copper wiring bits just absolutely embedded in that light tan house fur MAKES MY BRAIN ITCH.
Why not build the base to hold the esp32 and the wiring?
Ответитьcan anyone tell what song this is at the end of the video
Ответитьvery inspiring and cool idea Chris !
ОтветитьHas anyone managed to find wide V-channels like these muzata ones in the UK? UK Amazon is very low of stock on most Muzata products and the rest seem to be small channels and hence not spotless
ОтветитьAmazing video and project! Your channel is endlessly inspiring and your guides are super well produced and easy to follow.
ОтветитьCold af. Really appreciate your channel Chris.
ОтветитьI saw that you connected the power pin to a 3.3v pin on the esp32 does it have a risk to fried the chip?
ОтветитьThe hardest part of this project was figuring out who the hell borrowed my table saw (and didn't return it).
ОтветитьDo you have any suggestions for more cost effective LED strips?
Ответитьcould you please do a review on the kasa KL430 i have over 8 of them and they are easily the best leds i have ever got
ОтветитьHey Chris is it better than govee lyra actually I live in India here the pricing is very high for that so I am building this for my gaming setup
Ответить
