How to massage your partners upper back and neck: A guide by a Professional Massage Therapist

I have a lot of back pain (and a partner willing to help) but I also want to say that the delivery of this was really soothing as well. I could imagine how these different motions help with pain relief. I also really appreciate that there are professionals out there who are comfortable giving people advice on doing it themselves. Not everyone can manage to get a professional massage so it's nice to get advice from a professional as the next best thing.

i’m pretty young to be massaging someone. I’m practically exactly 12 yrs old. my mom has had trouble sleeping and works 14 hours a day. she comes home extremely tired and she still has work to do. i feel like massaging makes her sleepy and relaxed as she gets better sleep when i massage her. i will use these maybe 1 or 2 of these techniques to help her more.
