ОтветитьHi!!
Very interesting to hear your perspective. I sent you an email because I would like to ask you a few questions for my graduation project! :))
I stopped watching tv about 25 years ago and started reading. My quality of life really improved.
ОтветитьSocial media is designed to be addictive.
ОтветитьI ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ this. You rock.
ОтветитьI'm glad we didn't have cell phones when I was young. That said I've always loved technology and wouldn't want to give up my phone or computer now.
ОтветитьWhat about Spotify? 😅
ОтветитьI am going back to my Nokia phone.. Addiction to smart phones is today's most serious mental disease.. Human brain is not wired to constantly carry a small box around with limitless distractions in it.. Sorry to break it to you Darwin enthusiasts but if you give up your smartphone for a month you won't believe the difference in your mental clarity and focus.
ОтветитьI am 56 yrs old and have never owned a smart phone. I refuse. I have a flip phone that doesn’t even text. If I think I might need directions to get somewhere, I put an IPad in the car. Yesterday, I needed a barcode to get a discount at a store. I sent my son out to the car to get the IPad. Neither of my kids, who are 18 and 21, have a smart phone. They have no desire to have one.
ОтветитьGreat experiment .. but i wouldnt be able to even work without a smartphone .. 😢 sadly we must have a smartphone for so many things today .. i will try to ditch the smartphone for a dumbphone at least on weekends
ОтветитьAnd yet again somebody who promotes only Apple stuff and never mention anything about the rest of the world who uses android lol. Just laughable...
ОтветитьI practically stopped but I use it rarely and I have to have them outside at night because if I don't they give me headaches and I had a headache so bad last night that I thought I was going to die that's what the devices are doing to me
ОтветитьAs I have understood from the specialists, "boredom" is a good thing, especially for children. That is the moment they get creative. Otherwise we will have more and more stupid people on earth....
ОтветитьIt can be done. It's may be difficult in some cases but I know many people who choose not to use one period and they're fine. I think that in ten years that'll stay the same. Maybe need a tablet here and there but need to always be tethered? Naw. Now whether you might need on for work? I can see that. Be it's practically that way already. Just saying phones aren't a need. You can live without one. It's not a roof over your head or food in your mouth. We've managed to confuse the issue some but yeah it's something you can live without.
ОтветитьDef groundbreaking stuff when you break it down. Much love
ОтветитьNot available for Android!!!!!!
ОтветитьDo anybody want to accept Jesus christ as your savior he want to give u love peace and love and happiness and calmness and salvation and eternal life if u confess your sins
ОтветитьYoung man, I have lived 70 years without a smart phone and intend to keep it that way because I don't like what the addiction does to people, - and it is now recognised as an addiction - and that includes those my own age. Only this week I saw that there are circa 3000 road deaths in the USA attributed to cell phone use. The reality is, smart phones are making people weak, feeble minded, dependent and mentally ill but perhaps what is most scary is that they are the perfect instrument of control of the masses. You mentioned cash going - if cash is replaced by digital currency then the powers that be have total control over your life. Here in the UK there is a push back against getting rid of cash as more people are beginning to realise what it means. When I was your age, there was much worry about sublimation on tv i.e. a single frame o propaganda inserted into a broadcast that the conscious mind doesn't register, but the subconscious mind does. Smart phones don't have the same regulation as tv did.
ОтветитьFrankly, when I misplace my phone, I do panic a bit, but when it's low on battery I never have. Reducing my screen time has been really good for me as well, I've gotten down to less than an hour of screen time at times, though being under two hours is really the main goal for me for the time being; just using my phone for a smaller variety of purposes has been so useful for me.
