Comparing US national airlines to Qatar and UAE airlines is just dumb and you just lost your audience at the start of the video.
ОтветитьSorry, Coby. You have really misunderstood the story here. It doesn't matter what Air India do to the inside of their aircraft; I never again want to see the inside of a major Indian airport. They are dirty, crowded, inefficient and nothing happens without a bribe. Compare this with the calm efficiency of Dubai or Doha.
There is already considerable competition for customers going to Oceania and Far East. For Oceania there is Singapore Airlines via Changi or Malaysian via Kuala Lumpur. Both good airlines and efficient airports. There is also Cathay Pacific with stopovers in Hong Kong. And we haven't mentioned the European legacy carriers.
There is plenty of choice/competition but Air India we don't need.
New Mumbai airport will be complete and ready for International flights (mostly 2026). Similar time frame Air India will have most of current fleet renovated and more planes coming in service.
Currently US to India traffic is dominated by QR, ER and TK. Most of this will transfer to AI.
Also next year AI planning to start multiple direct routes from USA to India (Dallas, LAX, Boston etc.). Eventually AI will have as many direct US-India routes as QR, ER and TK (with one connection). This will cut big traffic at those 3 airlines benefitting AI.
Emirates and Qatar also has competition from non-stop flights now from North America (United, American, Air Canada, Air India) to India. They may not match the service of Qatar or Emirates but the advantage of having a non-stop flight does have its benefit and that is why the number of flights have been growing.
ОтветитьNobody wants to travel those smelly / shitty airplanes of Air India for long. Forget about it!
ОтветитьBed bugs
ОтветитьTwo rich, but socially backward countries.
ОтветитьHis comment that the governments prop up the airlines was tried in court with legal action filed by the Star Alliance and proven FALSE. That goes for fuel subsidies as well - that's not to say that the fuel in the UAE, for example, is sold at the same price in Europe. Mind you, the US price is also different that than In Europe as well. So that is a none issue.
ОтветитьAll of this guy's speculation has proven WRONG. For example, 777 are not delivered and will not be in 2025 - with projection now out to 2030. Thus, the reason why the A380 is projected to be flying until 2030 PER the AIRLINES>
ОтветитьCannot see Mumbai becoming a stopover destination.
ОтветитьWould only consider flying Emirates to Dubai. Not cattleclass US carriers.
ОтветитьEtihad has become one of the worst airlines. I used to travel with Etihad for years but now Etihad is my last choice.
ОтветитьImagine you go to purchase a ticket from A to B and you have Emirates or Qatar or Air India, even the president of India will pick Emirates or Qatar 😂
ОтветитьQatar's problem is debt.
ОтветитьThese two have been a nightmare for both airplane manufacturers, never being satisfied with this and that and something else. The Emirs will need to sit down on their large a..es and be as they should remain... polite as they talk to people like they are dogs not to mention sh.t Their constant tamper tantrums will lead them to where they should go... to the sewers. I never did and will never fly either of them.
Ответитьyou forgot to mention the awesome and award winning airports of Doha and Dubai. one of the reason why this two carriers will have no fear from it's competitors.
ОтветитьQatar does not have much oil… they’re a natural gas producer!
ОтветитьFuel consumption is linear with distance, not exponential!
ОтветитьYou didn’t mention Turkish Airlines and their expansion plans
ОтветитьNot fooking betterhelp
ОтветитьWrong information, Uae riches does not come from oil
ОтветитьQatar funds pro palestine movement at US universities and abroad to sow antisemitism.
ОтветитьNo chance of these airlines going under. The countries they are based in will subsidise them come what may.
ОтветитьI disagree about Air India becoming a threat for Qatar and Emirates. Everything I have seen and read to date in the media and internet shows Air India as inefficient, low quality of service, including dirty airplanes as you mentioned. Transpose those “qualities” to an airport that is supposed to be a “ mega-hub” … I just can’t see a picture of success.
ОтветитьIndia has a long way to compete with Qatar and UAE. It's not about the biggest fleet or the most served routes. It's about airport efficiency and ultimate travel experience.
Simply look at any airline and see how it treats its economy class passengers. Look at their boarding & disembarking process, seating configuration, hygiene & cleanliness, in-flight food quality, and offered services. The downfall of any airline company starts when its management becomes outdated and out of touch from reality.
I'm indian livikg in Europe, and i would never fly AirIndia... horribly late !!!
ОтветитьIndia will never match the UAE and Qatar. People don't want to use India as its hub due to its mess as a country. Saudi is also not a hub. People equate Saudi Arabia as a Fundamentalist nation
ОтветитьGood video. Anecdotally, I hear EK is very expensive for local Middle East flights and lose business even to say Fly Dubai. Not sure how much that dents their profitability and growth.
ОтветитьYou are spot on in your analysis. By 2028 we will start to see the decline of Air Emirates and Qatar Airways.
ОтветитьI live in Dubai, thus fly Emirates all the time, I've also had the displeasure of flying dreadful airlines in Europe and the US. Sadly nothing more than a glorified bus ride. I didn't watch the video as I'm sure I can use my time in a better manner. Flew in last night on an A380, it was full as it always is. Emirates my friend is here to stay.
ОтветитьThis analysis is beyond dumb 😂😂😂
ОтветитьCurious if they sell packages with an overnight in a hotel. Otherwise a layover in an airpot is not much of a break from a longer single flight
ОтветитьI assume Riyadh air doesnt serve alcohol and there will be no where to have drink during a stopover.
ОтветитьIndia will never provide competition for the Middle East carriers. It's not just the airlines that are a mess, India itself is a mess. Other Middle East Airlines are also not serious competition. Oman Air cram too many people in their planes, and rely too much on long flights on narrowbody 737s. Saudi Arabia will never provide serious competition - they're too unfriendly as a nation to too many people, and unless they give up their over conservativeb brand of Islam, it won't change.
ОтветитьFrom a guy wearing a COSTCO hoodie...😎
ОтветитьDo not promote BetterHelp
Ответитьthese Middle East dictatorships waste soo much of their peoples resources. now iraq is spending alot of oil money on their navy.their buying 4 battleships + other supporting warships.once iraq gets its big navy.they will rule the waves once again.😊
ОтветитьYou used to be good - this is BS -
ОтветитьBetter help is a scam.
ОтветитьBoeing is collapsing earlier than Emirates
ОтветитьForget NET ZERO Aircraft are responsible for MASSIVE AIR POLLUTION cut back on air travel!!!
ОтветитьRiyadh Air won’t be serving alcohol and that’s the difference
ОтветитьEmirates was once a proud and outstanding airline, but I believe in 2022, it faced a downhill. It never got a first place in a while now. After flying with Qatar Airways in 2017, it took away my interest of flying with Emirates. I flew with Emirates in February 2024, and they mistreated me. I was yelled and food poisoned on the airline itself and the cabin was very cold. They were racist to Indians like me. I can see Emirates is declining year over year. I would stick with flying with Etihad Airways or Qatar Airways. Maybe even Lufthansa Airlines.
ОтветитьIt's called airshitindi
ОтветитьThe arabs will be back on the camels///the place they belong to!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьU can’t match the customer service of Qatar n emirates with air India it will take a 100 years for air India to catch up with emirates n Qatar
ОтветитьI really don't think that Saudi airlines are going to be serious competition with Qatar and Emirates. Saudi airlines don't serve any alcohol, so I doubt they'll be popular with either Business, Premium, or Main Cabin guests. As long as Qatar and Emirates keep their prices lower than the real competition (US and European airlines), they'll get plenty of happy customers. We took QR business from LAX to DOH then to Cairo. Their business class was cheaper than other OneWorld alternatives, and it's nicer to boot. Would I connect in Saudi Arabia and have 18 hours of flight with no wine, etc.? I don't think so.
ОтветитьAdvertising scams !unsubbwd
ОтветитьWith Corrupted bureaucrats and company officials, along with crew fatigue Indian airlines will never beat anyone.
Ответить
