My theory for the delfino giant shine platform having a longer platform is likely a mistake carried over that the Ultimate team likely didnt realize. Or maybe its just room for assist trophies?? Probably not, and it's weird to stretch that one piece regardless.

Every version of it has a Pokemon that can Mega Evolve, a feature introduced in XY. Steel has Scizor (and Steelix who got a Mega in ORAS), Fire has Blaziken, Dragon has Garchomp, and Water has Blastoise.
