I went out for lunch yesterday.
I went to just Mac that I often go to, about four times a week
They’re open til late at night and the part-timer there is pretty so I usually like to go there when she was there
But this time, Unlike usual,There was a man I didn’t know that’s why I feel bad now

I went out for dinner with a friend yesterday. I went to an AYCE Korean BBQ place near by my house that I often go to about once every 2 weeks. It's a 24 hours place so I usually go there after lunch when it isn't crowded. But this time, I went there a little earlier than usual. I was expecting to see so many people. But it wasn't more packed than I thought.

며칠 전에 언니랑 저녁을 먹으러 나갔었어요.
i went out for dinner with my sister a few days ago.
2주일에 한번정도 자주 가는 고기집에 갔어요.
We went to a barbecue place that i often go to, about once 2 weeks.
24시간 영업하는 곳이라 주로 밤늦게, 사람이 없을 때 가는 걸 좋아해요.
it’s a 24hour place, so i usually like to go late at night when it isn’t crowded.
근데 이번에는 평소보다 좀 일찍 갔어요.
but this time. We went a little earlier than usually.
사람이 좀 더 많을 거라고는 예상했는데 생각보다 훨씬 더 많더라고요.
i was expecting to see some more people but it was much more crowded than i thought.

나 자주 가는 카페에 갔었어. 공부하러. 1주일에 2번정도 가는.
i went to the cafe to study that i often go to, about twice a week.
나는 주로 아침에 사람이 없을 때 가는 걸 좋아하는데 이번에는 평소보다 좀 늦게 갔었어.
i usually like to go in the morning, when it isn’t crowded. But this time, i went there a little later than usual.
사람이 많을 거라고는 예상했는데 생각보다 훨씬 더 많더라.
i was expecting to see some more people but it was much more crowded than i thought.

걔는 어제 퇴근하고 어디 갔대?
Where did she go after work yesterday?
오랜만에 친구를 만났대. 같이 한잔 하면서 몇시간 동안 얘기했대.
She hung out with some friend they hadn’t seen each other in a while. And they went out for some drinks and talked for a couple of hours.
어쩐지 좀 피곤해보이더라.
no wonder she looked tired.

I went to the bakery that i often go to about 3times a week.
일주일에 3번정도 자주 가는 빵집에 갔다.
i usually like to go (there) early in the afternoon but i had a lot to do. So i went a little later than usual.
평소에는 이른 오후에 가는 걸 좋아하는 데 할게 많았어서 평소보다 늦게 갔다.
i almost couldn’t buy it.
거의 못살뻔 했다.

일주일에 1번정도 자주가는 라면집에 갔다.
I went to a reman place that i often go to about once 1 week.
24시간 영업하는 곳이라 평소에는 밤 늦게 사람이 없을 때 가는 걸 좋아했어.
They’re open 24hours so i usually like to go late at night when it isn’t crowded.
근데 이번에는 점심을 일찍 먹어서 평소보다 일찍갔어. 생각보다는 사람이 적었어. 그래도 평소보단 사람이 많았어.
But this time, i had lunch too early so i went there a little earlier than usual. it was less crowded than i thought. But there were more people than usual.

Earlier today, my mom and I went out for lunch. We hadn't eaten out since the pandemic started. Anyway, we went to a Chinese place that we hardly go to about two or three times a year?.. It was a very popular place in our neighborhood. So we were naturally expecting to see many people there but It was much less crowded than we thought. I was glad that we didn't have to wait for our table but it certainly was not good for them.

이제야 선생님의 강의를 접하게 되서, 그동안의 세월을 너무 아쉬워하고 있습니다.
요즘 하루에 한강씩 외우고 말하는 연습 하고 있는데, 재미도 있고 보람도 느끼게 해주셔서 너무 감사해요..ㅎ
한가지 궁금한 사항이 있는데, 여기에 여쭤보면 답 주시는지 잘 모르겠네요.
30년전 영어 배울 때
I'd like to는 '~하고 싶다'의 의미라고 알고 있고 I like ~ing는 '~하는 것을 좋아한다' 로 알고있는데요.. 영상에서 처럼 I like to go late at night '가는걸 좋아한다' 의미라 갑자기 혼란스러워졌습니다.
like to 동사원형도 like ~ing와 같은 의미로 쓰일 수 있는건지요?

I don't usually went out for dinner. But I've heard that a nice bulgogi place opened recently. So i went there with a friend who loves bulgogi. He's the person told me about the place.
Anyway we were expecting to see many people but it was much more crowded than we thought. So i told him that it will be better to get here later again. A little earlier than that day. He seemed disappointed but i didn't want to waste a couple of hours for just a dinner.

선생님, They’re open 24 hours에서 they open 또는 they are opened이 아니라 they’re open이 되는 이유가 무엇인지 알 수 있을까요? Be동사 뒤에 수동태가 와야 하는 것이 아닌지 헷갈려서요 ㅠㅠ

I went out for a dentist appointment.
I had a wisdom teeth surgery.
The clinic location is quite far from my place.
When i go there, i need to transfer subway line, furthermore i have to walk for about 5minuites.
the location is distant and remote from my place, so i went the clinic (that) i usually visit once a year or half year.
They are open till late 9 o'clock
But they are close front doors from 6 in thr afternoon.
It is needed to enter back doors.
I have a next appointment. By the time i need to go quite earlier than usuall.

a. I left a little earlier than usual. Because I had to pick someone up on my way to work.
b. I was expecting there to be much more traffic on the road at that time.
c. But, there wasn't as much traffic as I thought. For some reason, I really forgot, it was Sunday.

There are open 24 hours so I like to go there for weekend lunch.

어쩐지 밖이 어둡긴 했는데 나는 우산을 가져오지 않았었다.
No wonder it was dark outside, but I hadn't brought an umbrella
조금 있으니 몇몇 사람들이 더 왔는데, 그 중 절반은 우산이 없었다.
A little later, some more people arrived, and half of them didn't bring umbrellas
비가 올거라 예상했는데, 우산 챙기는걸 깜빡했어
I was expecting it to rain but I forgot to bring an umbrella.

(3) I think it will take longer than I thought.
(4) I thank it’s harder than usual.
(5) This is the gym that I often go to, at least 5 times a week.

I went out for lunch yesterday. I went a pizza place that I open go to once a month. Actually this place is a small winery with a beautiful scenery. And they have a good coffee and pizza. I really love them. They're open at 12, and I usually like get there opening time on weekdays. When it isn't crowded.
But this time, I went there on saturday after my son's soccer match. I was expecting to see some more people. But It was much more crowded than I thought.😅

That's what I like. And they have good pizza and coffee. I usually like to go there on weekdays. When it isn't crowded. But this time, I went there on saturday after my son's soccer match.
