This was great. Up to now, the only "Lagonda" I've ever seen was an Aston Martin.
ОтветитьSounds like a mean, refined biker
ОтветитьThese old cars have been an extremely dangerous risk taking hobby for you Jay
ОтветитьLove seeing your cars
ОтветитьAmazing they could build cars like this with just simple draftsman, slide rulers, and pen and paper.
Ответить2 things i enjoy about JL channel. 1st, the content. 2nd, the deep down sincerity of the man.
ОтветитьI miss the old TOOT TOOT
ОтветитьThank you, great car.
ОтветитьJust beautiful. Still waiting for that Moto Guzzi Le Mans test though😂
ОтветитьWhen are you going to get Allen Millyard in you shop/ museum with some of his bikes including the viper v10?
ОтветитьShould not have taken Conan’s spot on The Late Show after handing it off. One of the worst show of human behaviors, good example for people to learn from.
ОтветитьOpera singer creates a car company. Not your typical story, but wow. Beautiful car.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful car, and the way Jay explains the cars history and how much he enjoys it makes it even more beautiful 🤙
ОтветитьJay, just between you and I, you don’t really like EV’s do you? This is where you shine, and you only push EV’s because NBC makes you. Right?
ОтветитьI truly love the sound of that v12. It really is great music to drive by. And it is just the quintessential vintage car in form and feature.
ОтветитьGood GAWD please no opinioated politics on Jay's Garage. I enjoy reading and often learn from the comments. Enough said... 😊
ОтветитьThis car is beautiful
ОтветитьWhy is Jay becoming Trump orange???
ОтветитьOutstanding! God Loves You, Jay! hope you in good health and have a long life!
ОтветитьNot surprised that this car has been going regularly for 30 years without a breakdown or overhaul. They were known to be an insanely complicated engine to rebuild BUT according to designer W O Bentley, would go 200,000 miles with only tuneups and oil changes.
ОтветитьYour wasting everyone’s time what your doing the camera crew and everyone
ОтветитьWhat a gorgeous beauty this car is. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
ОтветитьA Great guy enjoying his toys.
ОтветитьWhen did you do this video ?? I see the tress have not blossmed yet get video thanks for sharing !!!!!!1
ОтветитьWe love you Jay!
ОтветитьThanks Jay !
ОтветитьMAN !!-THAT CAR IS "THE BEE'S-NEES"--BEEOOTIFULL !!-GOOD ON YOU Mr LENO-
What a thing stunning
ОтветитьSo restrained.
ОтветитьHello Jay. You are in your element with this beauty ! As you say , the engineering of W.O .Bentley is something to behold . I was particularly impressed with the 8000rpm rev ' counter ! 😂 Thankyou Jay
ОтветитьI've had a special love for Lagondas, and W.O. Bentley for many years. Great to find Jay does too. Only he actually has one, a V12 racing Lagonda! Jay you wondered why the brake drums cool better with aluminum discs in drilled circle holes rather than the circles left open: Aluminum absorbs heat then dissipates it quickly. Hence, finned aluminum motorcycle heads and likewise on air-cooled VW's and Porsches. Thanks for sharing your Lagonda.
ОтветитьGreat story Jay!
ОтветитьThat's it's an exact replica.. wow.
ОтветитьCheers from the Pacific West Coast of Canada.
ОтветитьGreat to see Jay driving on one of the canyon roads!
ОтветитьJay does it best, these videos will live forever.
Ответитьwhen is the T50 coming to the garage?
ОтветитьI need this and a Mercer for my boy
ОтветитьMAGNIFICENT automobile!
ОтветитьThere is (or was back in 2010) a British Racing Green Lagonda V12 with bare polished aluminium fenders in the Franschhoek Motor Museum in South Africa, which was also a driving example.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьThe aluminum disc's might be heat sinks for the brakes.
ОтветитьSee you next week. Thanks a lot!
ОтветитьThis is one of my all-time favorite rides Jay took us on. It's obvious that this Lagonda brings him tons of driving joy!
ОтветитьThx for the video , my Dad had an old jag in the early 60's my Grandfather later said it was a silverstone , it was the aluminum body two seater right hand drive with those same windscreens , from what I remember it was a Lemans car an they built 6 and 4 had been destroyed dunno if that's true because you tube says they built about 12 , anyway my Dad raced it and i remember sitting on the floor under my Moms feet going for rides in it , dunno what happened to it , was sold maybe still around who knows I hope it is so it gives other kids memory's like mine in old age 🙂
ОтветитьGreat episode! This is the kind of "Garage" I will watch over and over.
ОтветитьJay and his amazing collection are a national treasure.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ответитьcoup de gra e not quite the appropriate phrase? Piece de resistance would be better I think.
