We love Phil. He's such a professional, wise, smart as heck. Gosh we'll miss him. Always says the right thing and just fresh as hell, always. Thanks Phil. You were nails at this year's TDF. Enjoy the rest of your life.

Liggett has been doping for more than a decade. I Remember when he was losing his memory around 2010, then a big improvement, he is on the juice. He should never use performance enhancing dope, right?. He is a hypocrite 100%!

If this is true, it’s been a long time coming… mumbling, wrong info, mixing up names, interrupting other speakers, etc. etc… it goes on and on… he sounds a lot like President Biden… thank you for what you’ve given to the world of cycling… very nice man… but it’s time to give it up 😢 Bob Roll, you’re next.

I got this link just by chance but I could not be happier to watch my favorite cycling commentator!!! My story with Phil goes back to 1988 when we were running a YO YO promotion for Coca Cola and Channel nine!! I remember staying up late to see every day’ TDF stage highlights!!! Phil got me as one of his greatest followers something very difficult to achieve since in my country I could not get his broadcast!!! Back then there was no You Tube etc etc.
This year I fulfilled one my life dreams and it was to attend two stages of the TDF and on top of that been able to say hello to Egan Bernal . Who could possibly ask for more!!! 17 Olympic Games and 52 TDF says it all about Phil!!! Nobody ever will get even closer to that “ record” my most sincere congratulations for helping us love Cycling even more!!!

Thank you for all your years of making cycling fun and friendly.

I hope you have a lovely retirement.

This discussion should become a significant part of teaching any upcoming journalist how to carry out a meaningful and enthralling interview with a well known experienced international journalist. This was one of the best conversations I have ever experienced. I am sure they will be ‘best mates’ for a very long time.

Liggett has been great, though I always liked Paul Sherwn much more than Phil Liggett because Sherwen's commentary always seemed more authentic and empathetic of the cyclists, whilst Liggett used cliches far too often. Still, Liggett was perfect in the 1980s though (the cliches started taking over too much from the mid 90). I'm just speaking my mind about - I have huge respect.
