10 Tips for a FUNCTIONAL Walk-In Closet or Dressing Room

OK this woman is talking to a very small demographic of people, I’m sorry I’m not in that one percent

I have a small to mid medium walk in closet. There are two shelves from floor to ceiling in there and where I hang there is double top and bottom which two of them I don’t do bottom! I have been purging it because I do not work anymore, ladies retirement is not a bowl of cherries especially if your husband is around alot🤪🤪👎, anyway getting rid of so many clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry to my friends before going to a donation center. This has been quite a chore but liberating. I still have lots to do but it is so so worth it so when you go into ur closet things re not all scrunched together. I got it! I’ll get rid of my bed and put a cot in my current closet so I can convert my bedroom into a dressing room. Problem solved!!!

I’m planning on having a half dressing/room half sewing room. This will help.

We initially had the the “daylight” white bulbs (4000K) in our chandelier and it felt like we were in a waiting room. Had a few friends over to compare (fully removed bulbs), and out of the 4 of them only one said she could do both and the others chose the warm white.

I've purchased Samsung air dresser after I finished my giant dream closet room. I think that it is a helpful tool for giving your clothes " ironed affect " , but many people mistakenly believe that this tool can replace " dry clean " or laundering process and this machine can't . Even after using sanitize or normal mode perfume smell stays on my dresses. I use one spray of lv perfume and it's not overwhelming but machine can't remove that though Samsung advertisement showed the removal of smells. I've purchased the machine for 1 300 dollars and it looks very similar to yours.

2. Specific spot for everything ( belts, hats, jewelry, sunglasses etc)
3. Hang or fold
4. Organize by type and colour
5. Daylight bulbs
6. Seating
7. Full length mirror
8. Display (jewelry and makeup tray, handbags, shoes, flowers, candles etc)
9. Utilize open wall space ( hook/rod to display outfit of the day, organize your week)
10. Understand the goal of your closet

are they this big or just for demonstration? on floor plans wic is about 2 by 2 square meters and in the pictures and videos they look like a whole room.

Do Type and colour. That's the best.

The styler needs its own 15 amp plug. It’s important to mention this for safety reasons. We got the full suite in our laundry room and it’s handy and sanitizes well, or even refresh clothes between seasons.

This could be a nightmare.

The clothes weren’t very wrinkled at all, and you were blocking the hem of the pants (where they were still wrinkled). I’d love to see a VERY wrinkled item come back to life in there! :)
