Thank you for these two notable ayas. What I found more interesting was the following aya (60). I always wondered what God (Allah) said about animals and in this aya God says he will turn people whom he is angry with into apes and pigs. Does this mean Allah considers animals (or pigs and apes) as condemned beings? This is very interesting. I hope someone has an answer for that.

Notice that the verse talk about Muslims believe in other prophets, where the people of the book, even though it might seem that they believe in them, but in reality, they are just disobedient i.e. not believing and following their own prophets. That's why they dislike Muslims because it makes them feel they are not doing what they were ordered to do by their prophets.
