Wow! Who knew particle board furniture could be sooo beautiful!! Thank you so much! ❤
ОтветитьI’m about to paint a dresser black. Thank you for the tip about not putting a poly coat on after painting. You saved time, money and probably anxiety.
ОтветитьBeautiful work. I'm inspired.
ОтветитьWhat about applying a top coat in the sprayer and mixing the dark color into it? I’ve seen that done before.
Just wondering about an alternative to paints without the extra sealer in it 😅
So I’m doing a coffee table. Should I put some kind of sealant on it?
ОтветитьGreat job!! I felt the original night stands were not redeemable- but you made them beautiful!
ОтветитьThank you for posting this video. I feel much more comfortable tackling my first try at painting some tired furniture of ours.
ОтветитьThank you! Your video is incredibly informative.
ОтветитьGenuinely native deodorant is so good and the scents that they have are amazing
ОтветитьI’m just getting started into flipping furniture, and I usually don’t comment on videos but I have to say your video has been the most helpful one I have seen yet! Iv watched probably 20 other videos so far to just drill the info into my brain and see peoples different techniques and tricks they do. Thank you so much for this video!
ОтветитьGorgeous Katie!! I love your work!!
ОтветитьThese came out GORGEOUS! And im so glad you kept the hardware!
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьWhat an excellent tutorial, thank you! Your explanations were incredibly clear, and mentioning what might (seem to) go wrong was super helpful.
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing this - from Sydney Australia. you have made some great tips especially using cans of soup and the plastic bag to stop the paint from drying up. Cannot wait to watch the next video you make 😊
ОтветитьGreat job!!!!❤
ОтветитьLooks great 👍 ❤
ОтветитьDid I hear right, you used 140 grit after the second coat to sand off excess?
ОтветитьWow!!! Beautifully done. 👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️👍🏾👍🏾‼️‼️
ОтветитьVery helpful! Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьThat Native deodorant doesn't work! I'm not a sweating person but was very musty after wearing it. The deodorant did work okay with an unscented aluminum deodorant on top, which defeated the purpose of the using Native!
ОтветитьI had no idea that there were so many specialized paints. This video was very helpful.
ОтветитьYou are helping me believe that I can stain, paint and do repairs to a few pieces in my home. You explain your process so well. Then you show us through video how you physically do the work. The end results of your refinishing is beyond what I expect. You are creative and talented. Thank you for the time you take to make these videos. The details have made me want to attempt the same.
Ответитьcan u tell me why someone sand each coat of primer and u dont ?
ОтветитьHey Katie! Awesome tutorial! You said to wipe down after sanding the primer and paint. Do you use a damp cloth for this?
ОтветитьHow do you clean those with paint on them? Im assuming you can't use furniture polish like you would on wood. They came out nice.
ОтветитьOk, you've encouraged me. I'm going to tackle my first project. Thanks for the clear, concise tutorial!
ОтветитьHi Katie - so glad I found your channel! This video will be really helpful as I get ready ready to refinish end tables for our family room. Your work is really beautiful and you’ve explained everything so well. From one Canadian to another - thanks for sharing your wisdoms!!
ОтветитьAmazing dear ❤ watching your videos regular... Just subscribe your channel ❤.. regular viewer's of your keep steppping forward 💥 God bless you ❤️🍫
Ответитьthose are beautiful handles. How much did you sell these for?
ОтветитьThank you!!! I needed this
ОтветитьHi Katie, your work is just stunning!! You said you used a nap roller not a foam roller. Can you be specific on the nap roller you use. I’m a beginner and it seems that all I hear about are foam rollers.
ОтветитьCan I get unscented primer and paint?
ОтветитьThank you I’m a beginner and this video gives me the information and inspiration I need. Thank you Kate
ОтветитьGreat instructions, ready to use on my thrifted night tables. Thankyou for sharing your talent with us.
ОтветитьHi! Great video! Would you recommend using an electric paint sprayer for beginners?
ОтветитьParabéns! Muito lindo, só faltou forar as gavetas.
ОтветитьI love your channel. It's inspiring. Thank you so much
ОтветитьThis was a great tutorial! Thank you for taking the time to make this video!! I noticed that you were wearing black gloves (I assume its nitrile) while using the primer, and I think you were wearing a respirator while sanding. It would be helpful to also include safety instructions since many people might overlook that aspect.
ОтветитьSuper helpful! Thx
ОтветитьI'm maneuvering my old Ikea furniture and Home Depot shelfs and now I know why it looked awful. I did not have on hand any primer and sand the furnitures as I should have and also overworked my paint and didn't let it properly set between layers. Now that I seen your video I know which materials I need to buy and stock again before retaking my room project makeover. Thank you for the detailed video because it explains everything easy to understand.
ОтветитьThank you so much. I enjoy these types of videos, but so many of them have gotten so elaborate, so technical and use such high end equipment that no one would own unless they did this professionally. I’m so tired of videos using sprayers because they’re not as easy to use for someone who doesn’t do it every day.
ОтветитьGreat video! But wouldn't it be better to clean and polish the knobs instead of painting them?
ОтветитьHow could you tell this was laminate from veneer? I get confused over guessing which is which
ОтветитьHi Katie, I am doing my first upcycle but after applying my water based primer there are spots of yellow? And same after two coats, it seems to dry with yellow parts. I'm used the BIN water based primer. Any ideas what I've done wrong? Is it tannin bleed through? I'm using a darker paint colour so I'm gonna just paint it and hope for the best
ОтветитьThis looks good!!!
ОтветитьI want to modernize my nightstand but have no ideas 💡. What would you recommend. I was trying to add pictures but can’t
ОтветитьThese look great! Very modern looking 👍👏
ОтветитьGreat vid some good tips there.
