i have the best tow car a 2016 SSangyong Korando 2.2 turbo diesel 2WD does 45 mpg normal 30 mpg towing pulls like tank powerful engine. i have done 30k mostly pulling a Coachman Pastiche 1500 kg.

When I watched this I thought 'Are they going to show any pure electric cars and if so will they do the old "but, the range will suffer" comment? And they did. When reviewing the Polestar 2 they gave it great praise, but mentioned the drain on it's range. Typically they don't mention how much range you lose on petrol, diesel or hybrid cars. However, when they talk about the VW Passat Estate Hybrid they note that in the right conditions you "could go weeks without using petrol thanks to an official all electric range of 38 miles". The Polestar 2 has up to 273 miles of range so why is it seen as important to mention the drain when it travels seven times further on electricity than the Passsat? Unfortunately the usual bias creeping in there. If range drain is not seen as relevant in petrol, diesel and hybrids then why is it suddenly relevant in a pure BEV that goes 235 miles further than a Passat in EV mode? Answer: it just isn't. Remember, 38 miles is further than most people ever drive in a day (national average is 27-30 miles). 273 miles is further than most people ever drive in a week (189-210 miles). Where's the problem?
!Update! Forgot to mention: Over 80% of drivers never tow anything ever. Me included.

Aside from the EV's and 4*4's it really should be called "best VW/AUDI group cars for towing". Blatant sponsorship / product placement. I don't believe that this is a full analysis whatsoever and i'm sure there are plenty more vehicles from other manufacturers out there that make very suitable towing vehicles , just not conveniently loaned with towbar from VW AUDI for this photshoot!

Wow you can tell you from the other side of the pond you guys must not drive very far when you go caravanning well we go camping over here and the thought of putting a car in front of a travel trailer. Makes my blood run cold. Not a car but truck truck truck. You need to have something that's got a little lead in it's pants or its rear end that it can keep it from sliding around from the tongue weight pushing side to side or should we just say wind equals sway. Also maybe you should talk about how you pass a person who's towing a trailer Don't hang out on the side of the trailer especially the back end side corner pulls the trailer all over the place makes the guy pulling the trailer want to pull his hair out why such inconsiderate people don't understand towing a trailer and what it takes to do so They don't care, They don't know maybe they're just ignorant. We go camping eight times every summer with a travel range of three and a half hours one way and live in the state of Michigan so everything's a drive. You don't put cars in front of trailers unless they're teardrops This shouldn't even be a video are you trying to kill people.

So let's get this right a electronic car SUV or other if it's electronic it ant any good for towing if you got to charge it you will have to unich the caravan would very possible get stolen it ant efishent IE you will be charging it far to often need I say any more

Stop saying a lack of a third row of seats is a disadvantage, nearly always this third row of seats are a joke, would you really want your kids sat just inches from the rear door of the vehicle in the case of a rear end impact, I don't think so!
