I personally don't understand why Israel is taking part in the ESC in the first place. Not because of the current situation but because of geography. It is called European for a reason. I always wondered why. That also counts for Australia.
Does anyone know why they can take part in it?
Besides what I just stated the singer representing Israel has pretty much zero influence on how this country acts in the war and what decisions are made.
I personally think that both sides Palestine (actually just Hamas) and Israel made mistakes. Hamas for obvious reasons and Israel should have had a different strategy so that innocent palestinian civilians that don't support the terrorists can flee and have a safe place to go to plus not get bombarded.
I am neutral in this conflict (except regarding the terrorists) and think that the Palestinians also deserve their own land or get integrated in Israel and get their own spaces that are historically important to them to practice their religion.

An Israeli comedian had a brilliant idea the other day. We want the Palestinians to participate in the Eurovision - not only that, we want them to win. They can send an asthmatic donkey for all we care - they get 12 points from us.
