Design problems apart its the best phone... Wireless charging is like slow charging with a cable because wireless charging name itself is misleading.... Because wireless means u can do it even if its in ur pocket.... Hope u get me.... So better to have a wired charging & with that insane speed u aren't spending time in charging so it's ok not to have wireless charging

The OnePlus Open outclasses the Fold 5. You said it yourself, it out specs the Fold 5 while also being $300 cheaper. End of discussion right there. OnePlus nailed it with the Open and Samsung continues to be complacent. Maybe now that they have competition, they'll actually try with the Fold 6 and drop the price.

I totally would've gone for the Open over the Fold 5 but wireless charging is a must have for my needs. But this is easily the best 1st gen device I've seen pretty much ever

Some ppl do not understand that it is not a unfoldable phone, in fact it is a foldable tablet. Most of the time it should stay open. It is better for inner screen. It is a main position for the device. So, unfolded Samsung is easier to use.

I have never used my phone's speakers for content since 2008. Even if I am alone, I would rather go for headphones. Do people actually use their phone's speakers for music or videos?

All on point as far as positive reviews. Got a couple of issues on mine. Had mine since release and have kept up on updates...granted this phone is from the US and I'm using it in the Philippines but that shouldn't make any diff. 1st issue is google stops working after a while... Google when you swipe all the way from left wc give you headlines... Not sure when it stops but it does and when you swip, you get a sliding app screen as usual but no content. Have to reboot the phone for it to come back. 2nd... Not really major but sometimes typing opened on portrait mode opens other things.. Maybe it's my fat fingers it it switches screens on me sometimes... I would say this is human error or the bezels for me are too thin? Last issue is customer service... Heard issues before but never experienced until now. Been a user since 5T and have had all other iterations. Jumped in on that mystery box promo and ordered 2...got 1...spoke to CS and the wanted me to jump through hoops: fill this out, chat w shipping company and screenshot convo, etc... I asked for a manager on the 2nd chat.. Case was open for 3 months. I finally told them that I'm not about to go waste anymore time gathering resources and filling out paperwork for $20...yes that was literally how much the refund was... Anyway, may go back to Samsung after this Open.. Sucks that a decent company gets dragged down by their suppport

Does it miss receiving any phone calls like a lot of people are complaining about the Google fold. Which is the same problem I had with the Samsung fold 2. My buddy had with the Samsung fold 3. And it stayed for years until it disappeared when they release the fold 5. Which is really weird that these old phones started working better once the newest phone was released , had to wait years for this.

Done know about one plus , but got 2 folds , and just over a year the main flex cables under the main screen , get damaged especially if u use the main screen a lot , Samsung required 400$ to fix , it’s happen all around the world Search it in utube , I thinks it’s manufacturer defect that Samsung refused to owe , my advise is stay away from Samsung unless if u planning to use it lightly, these phones are disposable

Obviously you are still stuck in a time where phones were used to call people. Folding phones are aimed at mainly 'creatives'. They need a bigger screen, better cameras (not selfies unless you're 12). They don't care about couple of extra grams or a camera bumps or wireles charging.. And I seriously don't enjoy Clickbait titles. Now that's brutal. Get it?

Bought the Fold 5 on launch and now got the Watch6. So far the experience was flawless, can recommend.
