I have a friend whose grandfather helped build that monster.
Ancestors lost their property to the dam, St. Thomas, Nevada.

My Grandma enjoyed watching Jacque Cousteau. Not her head under the water, though. She saved her littlest sister's life. And that sister is alive today. My aunt became a nurse!

I just got to say, being that they are under Lake Mead. I'm so very glad they are abandoned; for if they were not, that would be a tragedy in itself.

That town that was under water has now been exposed by the rapidly decreased level of the lake. Yes that right the lake is drying up and no one seems to care.

And it needs a lot more water hopefully with all this rain and flash flooding we're getting it will last until the end of November and then it will snow 6 or 8 ft in the mountains until March of next year then maybe we can feel this down and Lake Powell also and get back to normal

Why did they leave all this trash behind? Why not break it back down & reuse it elsewhere? I've never understood that about a lot of different places!

They should have a dive team go down and look for bodies. They’ve found 5 in lake mead so far this year.

Very nice job covering this and showing some of the history. The photog or tv reporter seemed to have pretty good buoyancy skills if he is who I think he is in the video. White fins were kinda funny when you compare to the bolt snaps on his rig.. ;). Big question for me at this time 7 years later.... IS this above water now?? Crazy!
