After seeing this video, I dare to say that Vangelis (as an autodidact) is the Amadeus Mozart from this new period of time...Without any doubt this is an absurd highly intelligent performance and it feels almost like he has been navigated by some sort of out of this world heavenly power! It is almost scary how good it is!
ОтветитьOutstanding! Thanks for sharing, Krisztián.
Ответить;-)))) fun Stanley Kubric c'est Windy Carlos mais il aurait pu prendre Vangelis... C'est peut etre de l'improvistion en plus
ОтветитьUn auténtico Mozart de nuestro tiempo...
? Que más se puede decir de él?.
❤❤❤
What song is this?
ОтветитьGreat Master!!!
ОтветитьMozart mode activated, but in his way.
Ответитьi doubt that this is from the "see you later sessions" more 1971-74 than 1980 the year of the publication of the "·see you later " album. Anyway thanx for this!!!
ОтветитьGreat video. The amount of time and practice he put in to studying "classical" composition is the key.
ОтветитьVangelis is today's J.S.Bach
ОтветитьWow he was 💋
Ответитьsuperb performance, and just shows just what vangelis was capable of, -as this has to be one of the most demanding classical pieces to play.
ОтветитьHuge thank you for uploading this video. I've been looking for it for years, and when it dissapeared first time, i thought i won't see it again (i've read that original owner of this video before his death claimed the copyrights and all of his collection is lost). I could listen to this amazing piece of art non stop. Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks so much for this Krisztián !
Never seen before footage :o
¡Ese hombre está poseído! No sé si por el espíritu de Beethoven, Bach, o Mozart, díganme, por favor...
ОтветитьThe sounds that he's coaxing out of a Hammond Organ, Hohner Clavinet, etc. is pretty amazing. Shows how incredible he was at getting great sounds out of his instruments even at this early time period before he had his CS-80.
ОтветитьWhat year was it?
ОтветитьGreat stuff from early 1974, recorded in Paris during the rehearsals for the Paris and London concerts that he did around that time. Filmed most likely by a French or Dutch TV company. This is the stuff that I can spot in the videos:
- Organo eléctrico de doble teclado: HAMMOND B3
- Sintetizador: KORG MiniKorg 700-S (2 units)
- Piano Eléctrico: FENDER Rhodes 88
- Organo eléctrico: ELKA Tornado IV Reed Organ
- Piano Eléctrico: CRUMAR Compac Piano Crucianelli
- Clavinete Eléctrico: HÖHNER Clavinet D6
- Mini-Organo Eléctrico: SELMER Clavioline (2 units)
- Caja de Ritmos: Ace Tone Rhythm FR3
This is basically the same gear that he used a few months later in the summer of '74 for the soundtrack of the French/Mexican film "Entends-tu les chiens aboyer?", which was eventually released on vinyl in March 1975 in France and Germany by the BASF label.
Quel génie !!!! Je ne m'en lasse jamais
ОтветитьLegend has it the camera man is still zooming in and out
ОтветитьGreat artist!
ОтветитьThis footage is Gold, Please Keep all of these Saved for the rest of the World to Listen!
