where& when are these available for purchase?
ОтветитьHow do you have tyres fitted?
ОтветитьCurbed a wheel, need an engine replacement now :D
ОтветитьSo if you hit a curb you lose a motor?
ОтветитьWhere can I steal these wheels.........thus rendering the car completely useless.
ОтветитьLucia 73
ОтветитьIma have to really start checking these cars now, cause I'm pretty sure I said stinger gt not tesla
ОтветитьI'm fine knowing it's made in Tianjing - China, for EV I believe all car makers are stand at the same starting points. And most importantly I can't resist Saab.
ОтветитьThe motor being in the wheel would drastically increase weight, affecting the unsprung mass. Also how do you control heat? Heat is a killer.
ОтветитьSAAB has a massive following that is wanting for Saab to be revived
I've only owned Saabs through out my Saab filled lifetime.I'm still addicted and will never sell my 2008
100% should make Saab 900 again 1985-94
Ответить100% should make Saab 900 again 1985-94
ОтветитьGreat looking interior and range....FINALLY an EV I would buy. 600 miles is the minimum I would accept.
ОтветитьQuestion; Driving along a motorway, would it then be possible to use one ore two wheels for forward trust and the rest for reloading the battery?
ОтветитьDoes this battery car also burn your house down or stops working if the battery gets wet? Must be very reassuring in a hurricane or flooding. Oh, and after how many recharges do you have to throw it away like an old phone because the battery's dead and the car has no resale value?
ОтветитьWhen can I buy one
ОтветитьThe only good thing about EV's is the looks that's it....
ОтветитьTerrible logo for a gorgeous car...
ОтветитьWhy not ADD a generator or, generators to trickle charge the batteries for extended or, unlimited mileage of the vehicle?
ОтветитьThese in-wheel motors seem to be the answer for converting existing ICE vehicles to EV, which would be ideal.
Ответитьpravi saab dizajn, uvik mi se sviđa a i ova ideja o 4 elektromotora u kotačima je odlična ideja, jedino sumnjam u domet i težinu kotača
ОтветитьI guess no one wants to mention Lordstown Motors Truck...
ОтветитьThere not pushing boundaries, there pushing my wallet.
way to expensive, just like everything theses days.
I want one❤
ОтветитьSAAB? Non vedo nessuna SAAB in questo modulo abitativo mobile su ruote. Se prenderà fuoco sarà comunque uno spettacolo.
ОтветитьIn hub motors are a terrible idea and no production car will ever have them. Plans to produce this car were scrapped 2 months before this video was published. great reporting.
ОтветитьYou got me at „not a SUV“
ОтветитьHow does it do it handle pot holes?
ОтветитьNice car, I’m impressed back seat could have more leg room
ОтветитьThe car looks good, but my biggest worry is constant exposure to salt during winter. The engines are very exposed and you only really need to take one hit from a small rock, and the rust starts going.
ОтветитьLoss to gearing with a conventional electric motor installation is very small compared to electrical and magnetic losses.
ОтветитьAll of the benefits of individual wheel power (or torque) control are valid, but they are available without in-wheel motors.
ОтветитьResponse time is a non-issue. The microseconds of mechanical transmission delay from an inboard motor to the wheels is completely irrelevant.
ОтветитьIt's a bulky car to fit the battery, and it's still a bulky car to fit the battery even with the motors in the wheels. So what was the point of the motors in the wheels again? 1000 km of range is not needed, but an EV of a more reasonable size and weight yet good range would be desirable, and they didn't even try for that.
At least it's better than the Lordstown embarrassment, which had in-wheel motors and nothing at all in the spaces where the motor should have been.
Now that Evergrande is dead…is this dead again?
ОтветитьDon’t know how long these motor last operating without suspension dampening road vibration
ОтветитьRemember when u could buy a car and actually work on it yourself?
Yeah. These things actually make me sad tbh
WOW. just wow.
ОтветитьI remember seeing a Volvo concept car around 2005-2006 with four hub motors. It was already impressive then, and the obvious way to go. With 16 years of additional technological development, the idea may be maturing. I would love to have a Saab 4WD EV.
Ответитьrealistically i don’t think NEVS will ever start production, I love SAAB but don’t know NEVS, is that Chinese owner having financial problem?
ОтветитьI have been saying for years, EV's have not evolved much outside of the standard ICE car design philosophy. A majority of new vehicles still have a huge area for an engine that no longer exists and an interior layout that still caters for a drive tunnel. A lot of the volume of an electric car is going to waste, rather than being used for passenger and storage space. Even this car's design is old hat, for example, why are they wasting the centre space between the seats when they could add a centre tunnel between the seats (under the centre console), so people can transport long objects like a fishing rod or long pieces of wood.
ОтветитьI'm so impressed 👏 Saab rules
ОтветитьLooks amazing!!!! What a great car saab comes back with awsome car well done !!!!
ОтветитьThey might have tested those wheels, but having sensitive electronics mounted in something that is constantly getting bashed is not going to last.
ОтветитьIs a boot in the bonnet a frunk, a froot or a still a boot? Maybe a hoodie?
ОтветитьI don't think 6 and 8 yr Olds in the Congo mining for kobalt is innovation. Just keeping it real.
ОтветитьMany, many years ago, my father said electric motors should drive the wheels! He was, obviously, a seer!
ОтветитьNooo, not China!
ОтветитьI suppose the most heating place is the wheals and it need very active cooling in addition so rubber of tire can be very hot . I preferred to be from the modern wonder as far as possible . i believe it have very actual reason for . Electra magnetic influence no one tell too much about . About phone every one know . But beside such power it can be 10 thousands time bigger problem . People too fast to jump in
