Iron blood is definitely my favorite.
ОтветитьI still use Miessence. 100% certified organic and still made in Australia. Oh, ships. Right. Sorry.
ОтветитьRandom thought, it kinda bugs me that there are two factions with Egyptian themes
ОтветитьWow, I definitely miss understood the first time I heard someone mention the “Gloriana”!?! I thought that was the name of that one ship! And not the name of the class of ships!?! Oh well, stuff happens! Lol I love hearing about the larger ships and battles with them! But I would also love to hear about more of the fighters and the dog fights they were introduced in and the best battles they were involved in?!? I’ve never heard anything about them but I would think with all the space battles there would be a lot of 1 man or even 2 man fighters battling it out in between the two rival war ships (or however many there are in that battle)!!!
ОтветитьNo offence to the artist that draw the white scars but that dude look kratos lol
ОтветитьIf someone hasn't said it's H-Ra-Fin-Kel sound wise Hrafnkel means Raven Wing in Old Norse.
ОтветитьI think the night lords’ ship was captured and cleansed. If it could contain a daemon primarch it would be perfect for the grey knights or the inquisition.
ОтветитьThe Space Wolf one is pronounced like "Rankle" on the audiobooks so I'm going to assume this is correct.
ОтветитьLotara Sarrin was/is still one of the most badass charakters in the whole setting
ОтветитьThe second Primarch probably drunk drove his ship into a sun
Ответитьgetting the Macragge's honor was so cool in gothic 2
ОтветитьOr you put all of them together and then one of them acts like a key and brings them all together like a big power ranger...i got big ideas for the franchise bring back the flagships
ОтветитьWhat if each ship was a huge key to a huge lock that unlocks a planet sized vault maybe in a blackfortress
ОтветитьIsnt the invincible reason the largest flagship?
Ответитьi want the salamanders gloriana to return, they deserve it for being good boys
ОтветитьAs an outsider looking in, it's amazing how much lore I learn about that seems absolutely critical to the 40k setting, only to find out it's actually ancient history from 10,000 years ago and mostly serves as backstory for the current setting. How do tabletop players deal with this? Do they specifically differentiate between a 40k era battle vs. Horus Heresy/30k era battles, or is it just whatever the heck they feel like pitting against each other for fun?
ОтветитьI wonder what the 2nd or the 11th primarch flagship look like
ОтветитьFinally, it makes sense why Gamers Workshops shops here in the states are always next to a Sephoras
ОтветитьPerturabo: Stars are gay
ОтветитьWindows are weak points in any structure. You practically open a hole, and replace it with see trough stuff. And if you can see trough it, stuff wont have much of a problem when penetrating it.
ОтветитьI remember seeing that Maccrags Honor in Battlefleet: Gothic 2 for the first time.
It was like 😲😲😲😲😲
You can't see the eye of terror if there ain't no windows
ОтветитьSooo Space Corgis actually managed to name something without the urge to add "wolf" in it? That's huge character development!
ОтветитьWait, do you just call us Warhammer neckbeards "absolute fools" and misanthrope in once sentence? Have you seen the price of WH minis? I'm pretty sure we contribute something to be able to afford this hobby. 😛
Ответить"The Iron Warriors flagship had all of its windows removed, probably becuase Stars are Gay or something"
Eh.. likely because windows are a vulnerability, nomater what they are made out of they are not as strong as iron..... and given the Iron Warriors perchance towards eleminating all vulnerabilities and useing only the best tools for the job... windows would likely be the first thing to go on anything they use that does not require sight from :)
The actual reason for removing of all the windows on the Iron Legion flagship is simple: Windows on board of a space ship are structural weaknesses even the best armoured glass is still weaker than armoured hullplating of half its thickness. It fits the lore of the Legion to get rid of that weakness to their ship.
ОтветитьYou know what would be even cooler? The Flag Ships of the 2nd and 11th Legions being rediscovered.
"What was once Lost, now Found. The 2nd Son, Unbound. The Purged far from Sight, finally Reemerged into The Light."
-Unknown Aeldari Seer
I wonder if there is 2 spare somewhere... Considering the 2 "lost" Primarchs
ОтветитьThe painted count didn’t actually die on terra he gave him self to the Demon in his sword and was cast into the warp for 666 years
ОтветитьJust came across this video at random:)
Grettings from your guild mate Noskillz 😊😊
I love the similarities between 40k Imperium ships and the ship from the bonkers, but excellent film Event Horizon. In fact there are a ton of similarities beyond that. You could even argue they are both in the same continuity; the movie takes place in the distant and forgotten Age of Terra, and was humanity's first attempt to use the immaterium for FTL, then the idea was abandoned for 15,000 years afterward (with good reason). But by then that incident was long forgotten and humans made another, slightly more successful attempt
Ответитьthe bush beside you barfs up a katachan bandana Cochise county, Arizona... my home... has a breed of desert dog, 'coyotes', which have developed a taste for cannibus, "lost" loads of smuggled amphetamines and tourists. If you ever come here... you are basically veal which was special delivered from around the earth. Email me though, and ill buy you a beer and cigar. dissappears back into the bush while farting
Ответить"cause stars are gay or something" lol
ОтветитьJust grow a beard, boom, face improved
ОтветитьIdk whats wurst
The fact that humanity in 40k has enough resources to make some without having it blessed
Or the fact they get outrunned by a bunch of magic space mushrooms
Luetin is so much better at this...
ОтветитьStill hoping new release of batllefleet gothic..
ОтветитьHrafnkel - The H is basically silent, Rafn is the base word for Raven and is pronounced Rafen, so you didn't pronounce it right you butchered it badly, essentially the ship is called the Ravenkeel. which is an homage to Odin as the God of War and Death.
ОтветитьIt's all fun and games untill Spirit of Eternity emerges from warp again
ОтветитьI use geologie in my foreskin everyday thanks Majorkill
ОтветитьI'm still hoping to learn more about the daemon ship tormegeddon monstrum rex
ОтветитьGloriana-Class Battleship vs. Palpatine's Eclipse-Class Dreadnought Star Destroyer. I don't care who wins, I just wanna see two OP spaceships from my two favorite sci-fantasy franchises kick the shit out of each other.
The 40K ship would have the upper hand in any boarding actions, but the Eclipse crew has an advantage in that they actually know how their ship works.
Hrafnkel is the name of the Space Wolves Battleship. It is Icelandic for "Ravenclaw". As to how to pronounce it? Paste it in Google translate and you will see that humans were not meant to pronunce it.
ОтветитьWH40K is one of the worst settings in Sci Fi...some elements of it are pretty good, but overall it is poorly laid out...
ОтветитьThe first thing i noticed with you were the wifebeater, not your face.
