I'm getting a set of forged magnesium wheels made for my 370z that will cost about $11,500. These wheels not only lighten unsprung vehicle mass but also lighten your wallet.

I Have HRE P43SC Wheels on my R35. I'll never sell them. They are incredible. You get what you pay for.

The HRE logo looks like the swiss flag. Making people beleave that HRE is swiss. But HRE is american.

Now these are probably standard on toyota to dodge! Amazing what comes on a stock car now a days it’s like we went through the catalog and picked out the beat parts to put on. And aftermarket now is sometimes not as good as some factory equipment not all but some.

I have HRE c22 on my Supra. I want to get the c103 for my Lamborghini.

I bought a 2005 911S with HRE wheels in 2010, they were so bad a** looking 5 spoke, that everybody and I mean everybody commented that it made the car so sexy it was kinda weird. I had a problem with the wheels leaking air pressure, (the owner left the car in the garage in the garage for 3 years allowing the tires to go flat and corroded) it cost $150 per wheel to reseal at the HRE facility. HRE treats you like royalty and gave me all the attention to make me feel comfortable. I sold my 2005 in 2013 cause I was moving to South lake Tahoe (snow infestation), now I'm looking for a new 997 and I wish I had the wheels, look up the price, now I kick myself for selling it. They were $10K wheels! Bummer...

Vossen rs5 forged magnesium wheels sell for about 8500 USD for a set. weight is about 15 pounds.

I would enjoy seeing Jay interview Forgeline, also a small company, and also made in America. I prefer their wheels, they are at least equally high end, but for a better price than HRE. Forgeline built an absolutely beautiful set of custom wheels, better than I even hoped, for less than $11,000, a far far distance from $50,000. They are in Ohio, not California, where costs are far less.

Wheels are like jewelry for your car. While they are a structural component of the car, they are often way overpriced for the amount of bling you want.

I would like to see Jay speak with Forgeline, made in the USA. Forgeline did a custom design wheel for me for less than $11,000 (rather than $50,000 quoted here) and they are absolutely beautiful. But Forgeline is in Ohio rather than California, and therefore does not have to cover for California cost of living, taxes, and rotten government.

I don't trust " the pressed wheel" system - the "Billet Cut" method is much stronger, even casting is much stronger than "Pressing metal"...……...
