Light detectirs work based on the photo electric effect. When a photon hots the detectors surface, it becomes entangled with the electron. This causes the wave function to collapse.

Are we vastly misunderstanding exactly where consciousness draws the line because it still sounds like our inability to « see » an électron is the determining factor in this paradox because we’re recording what we didn’t see and what we do . Even if we are not directly looking at it this refers to the objective data nodes . Who can’t see the electron? Neil? Me? The cow? Schidinger’s cat? All of us? Our consciousness is still being tested here showing that the visible universe is human and the non visible universe is potential for any data node

Science has the false materialistic dogma that only the brain and the five senses can give the perception, thus, the only source of consciousness. But, they faulter to have ignored the evidences of reincarnation, OBE, NDE. ESP, spiritual, metaphysical experiences, and unknown forces that govern the laws of nature. These are not within the realm of science but are properties of mysticism that only true experiencers of Samadhi have a profound understanding about. Some scientists speak like they are expert in claiming truth about the unknown that they never have experience of. The mystics have a profound understanding of the unknown as a reward of immersing their psyche with the pure consciousness from nature that rewarded their enlightenment.

I love him, but he tried so hard to cover up some of the stuff they don’t want him to say. I understand that explanation that’s exactly what someone would say if they were lying lol. He did not sound sure of himself at all and second when you put a camera or recording device right up to the damn cardboard the mass changes because it’s being observed like render distance. If you were God and needed to save energy, you would make your Sims on a planet like this with so much giant space and no way to travel across it in billions of years still won’t know how they said. But they’re starting to get into frequency more and that’s where the answer lies is in vibration and frequency. Everything was created via vibration all the way to the hands of God. But yeah, if you haven’t seen the reason for the dual project get recorded, please God look it up. It is amazing. It basically shows you the curtain behind our world and it is a simulation, but it’s not what you think. I mean, it’s not an AI simulation. It’s a real life simulation where anything can be possible inside your imagination and the way to create something from nothing is to use imagination that’s the answer mind you we have so much more to learn after we die probably! But please watch how the moment they put a camera or a recording device in general. They put it up to the dual project right next to the first and or second piece of cardboard it doesn’t matter and it simply changes its mass because it’s being monitored and it knows it’s being watchedand when they turn the record button off, it goes back to normal every time. Please look this up.

experiments notably the ones made by alain aspect and his team showed us that the particle "changes the path it took in its past" to conform to the end measurement. His explanation really does not do justice to how weird this measurement effect is

But dude there are variations of this experiment where light isn’t used and it still exhibits the same effect. And now we are finding that we have structures in our brains that are exhibiting quantum phenomena that were previously thought to be only achievable at extreme cold temperatures. He even says that we don’t really understand consciousness very well.

Well as we unwrap if I was a betting man I would bet that the act of perception is perhaps connected to that which is perceived in some way.

This is a valid explanation but unfortunately it makes no sense when you realise that in the double slit experiment, the two observations are not because light was absent in one measurement and present in the other. In both observations, photons are observed and they arent interacting with electrons.

@DarrinSmith1
@DarrinSmith1 - 07.03.2025 23:16

It sounds like Neil is saying that it's due to a light being turned on in order to do the measurement. In other words, a photon interacts with the electron, not the fact that it is being observed. I thought however, it's been shown that the light can be on before the measurement takes place and that alone didn't impact anything. It was the fact that it was observed that changed things. The photons from the light were present before it was observed (the light was already on). Given this, it seems what Neil deGrasse says is very misleading. Is that wrong?

Is it possible to prove Dr. Tyson's theory by implementing a "low-dose" type of technique when observing the electrons passing through the slits?

What if it is similar to the boiling of a frog anecdote?
Show the results of the double slit observer experiment with an electron microscope's focused beam slowly illuminating the electrons passing through the slits. To see if that minimizes the manipulation of the electron's position

IDK, curious is all

If you place detectors at the slits the wave-function collapse appears to occur. This makes it seem as if interaction with a physical system (like another particle) is what causes a measurement, not a conscious observer.

However, we only observe this to be the case because someone is looking.

The idea that measurements occur before anyone looks makes no sense theoretically.

As quantum physicists Henry Stapp and Menas Kafatos point out, Quantum Mechanics gives no reason why the detectors, slits, and particles wouldn't ALL be in an entangled superposition before someone looks at the detectors output.

The idea that QM only applies to the subatomic has been experimentally refuted. A macroscopic sapphire crystal that can be seen with the naked eye was shown to be into a quantum superposition by physicists in Switzerland.

This confirmed something many of us already knew... The line between "quantum" mechanics and "classical" mechanics doesn't exist in nature.

A conscious observer is necessary to perfom measurements in quantum mechanics. In other words, Consciousness creates the classical world we observe and there is no way around it.

The idea that a particle can perform measurements falls victim to the Von Nuemman chain problem.

When we observe it changes because our consciousness begins to record our reality in front of us, downloading the moments we experience, like a continuous simulation. When nothing is being observed it stays in that other behavior because our creator doesn’t care for it. That’s how and why our creator sees and knows all.
