Icon of the Seas Cabins and Suites Tour - One is VERY CONTROVERSIAL!

Those new "screened in porch not a balcony" cabins are weird. None of the benefits of a balcony. I would not want one, might as well just have a regular outside cabin and pay less.

All rhe rooms look really nice. I especially like the Inside, Infinite and Panoramic rooms.

I would like to see Handicapped accessible cabins just to see if I could maneuver with a scooter or a rollator walker. I know these are limited viewership but it would help.

If It Is The Same Price, I Will Take The Window option!

I think i would like the infinite room with the view, I don't want to be out in the hot so I can get t he view and light and read there

Only power on one side of the bed makes it very difficult to use CPAP machines.

I think I would be an Infinite Ocean View Balcony Cabin hater. 🙊 😂 Especially if there's more than one person in the cabin. It seems like it would be inconvenient if one person wanted the balcony window open and the other person wanted to be in the room with air conditioning. I also think it would feel more like a large open window rather than* a balcony. I do think the Ocean View Balcony Cabin looks the most appealing and would be my personal preference. I was surprised at how nice the Inside Cabins looked. I think they are fantastic for those who prefer this type of cabin. The Surfside Family View Balcony Cabins also looked really nice but personally I'd prefer a view of the ocean.

Where the Ultimate Family Suite doesn't look so ultimate when it looks like an elementary school classroom. I would feel ripped off.

I actually like this floorplan since I tend to like ocean view rooms, this was a step up. What I always feared was the noise of neighboring cruisers on their balconies and found this setup to be quite nice. I was able to lower the window and get fresh air and sit comfortably in the room. I had a balcony room on one of my cruises and hardly ever sat out on the balcony. This room set up was very comfortable for me

I’d pick the cheap one without windows cause it’s the exact same cruise as everyone on the ship. That’s big enough for me and hubs.

I hate how many of these cabins make it so difficult to comfortably watch the TV!

Hello Ben and David 😊 I'm from Miami, FL and my family and I love all your videos and especially the newest Icon videos. It's very interesting to see how many restaurants and different neighborhoods there are on Icon. I love all the coffee myself on all the royal ships. I wanted to know what the name and manufacturer is of the bag that David brings on the ships and goes with him on your excursions? Can someone please give me the info...thanks

I am not a cruiser but I wonder if the really expensive cabins are premiums for people who use the casinos a la Vegas? This cruise ship really feels like a casino hotel on water.

We just took the inaugural sailing on Icon… too expensive for what it was but a very nice ship and good experience. Infinite balcony was the worst… not a balcony IMO… and they needed more spots to hang wet clothes… Also I wish they’d label the food (dairy free, veg, etc). It was very nice but I would not go again at that price

I have the infinite balcony family room booked for 3/25! Cannot wait for my kids to have their own bunk area! Way more than we'd ever normally spend but my oldest heads to college later that year so we splurged!

Great review but I do want to take issue with you a little. Watched your review of Arvia and having cruised on Arvia I feel there is no difference between the decors on both ships for standard balcony cabins they looked very much the same. In fact I think the wardrobe space on Arvia looks better than on Icon and we ladies would struggle with the amount hanging space Icon has.

For large suites i would take Norwegian cruise line's villa.

I like the infinity rooms and is affordable.

Cool buts whats with the same boring two art pictures in all those cabins? Never have art prints/paintings of people/faces in cabins just like at hospitals, it scares people just waking up or medication(seen this happen many times on my floor at work 12 years ago so they were all removed). On ships, stay with water veiws, seascapes, birds etc art.

While nice for some. It seems to me that Royal has figured a way to charge a premium price for what is truly a regular ocean view cabin by calling it an infinite balcony. If they had wanted it to be unique, they would have figured how to have the A/C stay on. I would choose that gorgeous inside cabin over the infinite balcony because it really isn’t usable as a balcony without cooking the cabin’s occupants.

As a person who is always hot I cannot do the infinite balcony. They look nice but I will stick with the regular balcony but not on this ship. Too big for me

I'd pick the corner suite. They are lovely.

I’d prefer a normal balcony. My husband prefers to be inside in the aircon and I like to sit on the balcony.

that inside cabin is the first time id consider them over a balcony

I have a feeling they should have had some kind of either automatic or manual retractable separator for the infinite balcony that would allow the inside to keep the air on when the window is down. That would be the only way I could see a fixing it.

why go on a floating block of flats with amusement park add ons .. its horrid !!! , I like proper ships that are smaller where not thousands of people are trying to get off when you dock . These type of things are overpriced and they up sell on everything. I also like just turning up to the show 10 min before with no booking and getting a seat , rather than waiting for 45 min before a show and having to book it before you get on thats If shows are not already sold out , waiting in queues is no holiday for me !! Love your content so we can see what its really like !!

Never liked the idea of infinite balcony, I think indoor and outdoor areas should always be separated. Sorry !!

We're sailing in an ocean balcony room in April 2025.

Being in the last cabin would drive me bonkers. Can you imagine the noise the little darlings would make after a day of sugared foods? They'd bounce off of everything in there. Just no!
