Sounds super tinny and weak

Hey thanks, I just got this mic secondhand and was wondering why it sounded off- there's also an echo but I think that's caused by Voicemod, I'll have to check that out.

Man tell me what i do wrong with my nw 800 i just bought it , it has constant some kind of Windy noise while recording , what to do, ur sound is so clear

everyone says my volume is very low but my levels are maxed on my end?....any ideas why

!!!!This mic DOES NOT WORK with the Behringer UM2 interface, I wasted my time and money! It's rubbish!!!!

I have it and when its plugged into my pc(USB) it doesn't pick up voice but sounds like a hurricane if I move it

Hello, I have trouble with my neewer mic.
1. I have a window 10 laptop that has only one audio jack.
2. I tried connecting to the audio jack and my laptop did not detect the mic.
3. I have connected an audio splitter and same result.
Can some one actually help with how I can resolve this? I am connecting using the neweer nw-100 power supply.

What do you use to get clear sounding for singing with the bm800 i dont have the special gear for it but mine sounds like hissing when im in a very quiet room

My NW-800 with 4.5v of power is unusable - I need to shout into the mic with my mouth 1cm next to it for the mic to pick anything up. Are you using a preamp? or is my mic just fucked

how come my nw 800 sounds trash compared to urs? i have a Syba USB sound card, phantom power, and a pop filter but mine souds super static and low quality how can I make it like urs??

Just grabbed one on Amazon for $11. Can't beat it. I've got dynamics, condensers, and ribbon mics, some costing 20x as much, but do they sound 20x better? Debatable. TBH I'm planning to keep the body/capsule and maybe mod or replace the driver board (probably replace since this is SMT). Body is decently constructed and I couldn't even buy an empty one this cheap..

I have the mic with the phantom power, in obs without phantom it sounds awful, yet if I try it out with my capture card with phantom, it sounds great.

I'm a bit confused. You get the microphone and then a card? Do you have a link for what you are talking about? I know it is xlr so I have an adapter to plug it to my laptop for my own condenser mic. But if I recommend this to a friend who does not have any recording equipment what would they need to make this work for them?
