The absolute best song in the series and one of the best pieces in any video game.

They should've just kept the original designs in Automata. The song's deepness just doesn't feel as strong/serious/mature when they look like children.

I came to listen to the music because I heard it was good in the Nier games, figured eh it's probably not gonna have too much spoilers in the gameplay that goes with the song. Started my replicant playthrough and realized whoa major spoilers with the twins. Then I made the mistake of looking at the comments. That was a huge mistake.

Soundtrack is unmatched, what a unique experience

It is the beginning of 2023. While everyone is simping the twin androids from Atomic Heart, I am still devoted for Devola and Popola. My, it was Devola's song that actually brought me to Drakengard/Nier franchise 4 years ago, after all. So for me, it is never enough of "Song Of The Ancients".

You know... unrelated to the music, but Popola was really hypocritical here. She and Devola were here trying to kill Nier, Kaine, and Emil, and was fine with it. But when they killed Devola, now it's a problem?
"You cut down my sister like a goddamn animal and now you want to STOP!?" Yeah we killed her because you two were going to kill us, what did you fucking expect? Nier to just lay down and die when his sister is almost within reach after so many years?
