I tried Squarespace and I tried a few different web builders. I prefer FORMAT. Why? First , Format designs are beautiful- simple, clean, eye catching, professional. Easy to navigate their interface and experiment with themes and templates. And they work well- very smooth functioning. I tried a few other web page builders, and in my experience they were more "glitchy". Second, I am very very impressed with how the people at Format really care and are so good in terms of customer service. Third, unlike other web builders- Format is run by and for artists. I feel like its not only a web builder, but without getting too "warm and fuzzy", they really seem like they are building a community or artists. Not only by their web design and customer service, but by creating an online magazine for artists. I feel like I'm more part of a community than just a number.
