Fallout and Skyrim series have been the games I've sunken the most hours into and still, I find myself going back to them. Especially with the modding community support. These games constantly change and have new content. Bethesda is one of the best game studios ever IMO. Big shout out to all the amazing modders too of course. Starfield is going to blow me away. Been waiting my whole life for a space game like this. Now we just need atmospheric flight and ground vehicles....here come the mods.

I was hoping there might be coop play with friends like Borderlands but total single player is better than jank multiplayer

What kind of books will be in the game and do you mean full books or like RDR 2 where you can read a couple of pages out of a book?

I enjoy Skyrim. I’ll probably enjoy Skyrim in space.

Lets be honest, it is Outer Worlds with arcadey space flight and survival elements. The music even sounds like the Outer Worlds

I have one disappointment with starfield it seems like you can’t loot all clothing from bodies so I can’t leave naked people in a pile somewhere

As much as i like to be proven wrong i'm afraid it's once again the Hype that makes the game popular and not it's final quality. I playey Bethesda games for over 20 years - never have they released a game that did not require the modders another year to fix it. Clearly the public hss a very short memory it seems...

Have zero problems about Skyrim on the space formula,I can play it 10+ year ... hurray 😊

I never played a FO game until a friend said FO4 was basically 'Skyrim with guns' and I loved it. So 'Skyrim in space' is all I want!!!

Very well explained! The dynamic AI in Bethsda RPGs was always something that set them apart from other RPGs in which NPCs where typically lifeless, stationary quest dispensers, (Bioware I'm looking at you!)

One of my main concerns is the forced combat in Starfield. Playing a pacifist role we know already isn't going to be possible. How is this going to be handled and what settings are going to be available to mitigate towards a more pacifist gaming style? These are issues I'd like some direction on before buying the game if possible.

In 16 days, FDev player base will plummet to even lower numbers than it has now. This game , if done right, is going to be a major player in the Sci Fi genre. Even SC is not immune. It will be a great addition to the genre. Other games, who drop the ball every update had better beware, Starfield is coming.

Sky-Skyrim? yes my impressions have been that they are selling us Skyrim, again. I am hoping for more but fear less.

Cut the you know Obsidian. This game is going to be everything which has been released from Bethesda. No need to compare it Skyrim or any other game from that company since the last two titles were absolute garbage, and your only adding to the hype.

Tel ya what, if I buy the game, and after messing with it for a bit which I know there will be bugs galore, and in some cases force me to go over the 2 hours to get it to run will you give me a refund if I can't get it from Valve?

I think content creators have to held accountable for what they say, and how they try to mold public opinion on a game they haven't played yet.

I am excited to see how it looks on the Series S. If it’s good I’m saving up for one just for this game.

If only 10% of the 1000 worlds have activities and stuff to do thats still huge. And all those empty planets become blank canvasses for all the modders ready to get cranking on this game

I would so welcome a Skyrim in space. It’s all set in space with ships, planets, upgrades, missions, exploration…and more space sim players love. But, also add a MASSIVE open world limited only by the entire galaxy! This gives us as players so many potentially endless side quests of all sorts. Especially with Bethesda working with moders running with entire planets, galaxy’s as a canvas for the endless source of things to do. I’m truly excited to play Starfield, but also know Star-field will be my obsession, and will take up all my gaming time for months, years to come. My self and so many others Still jump into Skyrim to this very day; so many starts over and over again. Star Field could be much the same, but I see the game as just unending.

Im really trying to not get my hopes up... but all things considering, im super excited.

I actually do think they'll make it multiplayer eventually. A bit like how GTA added gta online.

If this game was made by any other company, I'd be excited. I hate their style of rpg.

I think it will be more like No Man’s Sky, with photo realistic graphics instead of the enhanced cartoon style of NMS.

I'm excited pre installing now on pc game pass. First new game I'm interested in since I built my mid range pc 7 weeks ago

I plan on buying this game eventually, but I think it will not be in the first year or maybe two. Not just because I never really get anything the first year, but from what the system requirements look like.. A new pc will also be purchased.

The single-player aspect is appealing. Multi-player always devolves to people being disruptive and mean.
I still play No Man's Sky in single player, and never played Elite in Open.

People think 76 was some sort of staple for bethesda where it was something new they messed up on... Anyone with past experience with Bethesda RPGs knows what we are getting here... Its SkyOut/FallRim in Space.

Obsidian big fan since elite dangerous. going to grind hard in this game, super excited. I feel like this game is going to give me the exploration i miss from elite dangerous and ship building plus fun material farming from no mans sky. lets goo
