I have to agree with the comments regarding how clean not only the trains, but the stations. It puts the UK to shame in that respect. And I love the courteous staff, the little bow that they give you. It seems so jenteel .

Unbelievable, the world must take a bow, Japan is way way ahead.

As an American, this train really puts into perspective how behind we are in technology in certain categories. The cleanliness of station, the heatable meal by pulling a string and the respect for each other as humans is incredible. I hope America takes this route at some point. In the meantime can't wait to visit Japan. Thank you for the video.

I was on a Shinkansen in Japan and I guess I expected it to seem faster.. don't get me wrong, it's far faster than any other train I've been on, but it's more kind of like when you're in a very heavy jet about to lift off for takeoff.. I guess I expected things to be a blur looking out the window or something..

It may have been in the video and I missed it, apologies if so, but I was wondering from the time you arrive at the departing train station to the time you leave the destination station...how does that compare to flying times between the two cities? Say from arrival at the departing airport to leaving the destination airport including all security checks, etc.

We travelled on the Shinkansen last August. Enjoyed every ride. Managed to zap to Hiroshima from Okayama on 6th August 2023 on Memorial Day. A wonderful experience. Loved Japan, the food, the culture and the very polite people.

I have always loved Japanese bullet trains! These ones, the "E5 and H5 Series Shinkansen" are indeed a very interesting and a very attractive piece of Japanese railway engineering! I'm very impressed I love the colourful liveries and the shape of it!
